Why do so many people allow perplexities and worries of everyday life to fret the mind and cloud the brow. We have a friend. His name is Jesus. He is our helper and our guide. Why is it that so few people turn to Jesus in their moments of distress?

You may be perplexed in business; your prospects may grow darker and darker, and you may be threatened with financial loss; but do not become discouraged; cast your care upon God, and remain calm and cheerful. Pray to God for wisdom to manage your affairs with discretion, and thus prevent loss and disaster. Do everything you can to bring about favorable results and trust God to do what you aren't able to do.

God is willing to help you if you are willing to ask him for assistance. Why is it so difficult for so many people to trust God? It is not the will of God that his people should be weighed down with care. Take all your burdens to the Lord and them there.

2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

So many reasons.... PPL are often afraid of the unknown, or have heard false lies told about God or the Bible, or Jesus Himself. So many things cause ppl to fear or not care. ONe huge one too is that ppl want to remain living in their own silent fear and pretending all is well. They dont want to be held accountible by anyone, dont want the truths of themself to be revelaed, let alone tohave someone expect that they would do something about their problem To be accountible To God is bad enuff they think, let enough to be held accountible by their brothers and sisters that are Chrsitians. Its easier to pretend we dont have a problem , than to admit it, confront it and allow God to help us with it. some ppl just hate thinking they need anyone , let alone this unseen God up in the sky. Mix that with the lies about God since time began, an dyou have ppl living in anger or fear> Only Jesus can set them free and they must ask for help. Lets pray for them till they can pray for themselves.
If ppl have never been able to trust anyone their whole life and were never taught about healthy esteem of self and healthy wonderfu loving relationships, often it is hard for them to learn about knowing God, let alone trusting HIm with everything. But Jesus can break any curse that takes stronghold. We must pray for them to allow Jesus to set them free. Lets love them and keep praying and God will deal with them, tho He forces noone.
Your question shows love for God and other ppl and you will be very blessed.
