It's one of my pet peeves, but I cannot abide people using the verb "Pop".
Why can't they just say put (or go))?
Women use it much more than men, to my hearing.
-I'll just pop into this shop-Pop it into the oven! etc.
Yes I know I'm an old moan, but I do believe other people must share my gripe.

I have a condo in the SF Bay area and really just want to put some new floors down, and buy a couple of updated appliances. I couldn't get a HELOC from my credit union unfortuantely, because I have 1st time homebuyer loans from my state and city that are considered 2nd & 3rd mortgages. I'm wondering if a 203(k) might be a decent alternative. Specifically I'm curious about the interest rates, and whether or not refinancing my condo will constitute a sale and I'll lose Prop. 13 protection for the stated value of my condo and taxes. But any other info would be appreciated.

I want to change the waiver rules so that on sunday when the games start all players are changed from free agents to waivers until Teusday or Wednesday. That way it will prevent the whole first come first serve bias on picking up people over the weekend. If all players are waivers then everyone can put in there request to pick up a player and waiver priority will designate who gets the player. Makes it more fair for the person that does not sit in front of the tv all day long on sunday.
thanks

I asked this question yesterday http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AipVbu8EJr6UrARGoAlv69Psy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20070910094300AAK6Gwl

I'm selling a PDA watch that I haven't used in several months, because I got a blackberry. I was lazy, and only just listed the item last week. I should have tested it first, but I was stupid and tested it later instead. Normally the battery lasts 1-2 days. Now I find that the battery only lasts 1-2 hours. However, the item already has some bids on it. Can I cancel the listing and if so, how do I do it? If I can't cancel it, do I revise? And if I'm only able to revise it, do I contact each bidder and let them know the new information?

So I contacted each of the two bidders, and I also posted a revision on the description yesterday. eBay didn't send me a reply until this morning. However, now I find you cannot cancel a listing if it's under 12 hours left, and unfortunately that's the case.

More to be continued.

My son has a 50 min. ride to and from school. This is the only negative to him going (besides my attachment issues).

Does anyone have any ideas for activities a 4 year can do on a bus. He can't eat on the bus. I sent in a laminated car bingo card and a cranyon and an I spy picture book. That will get old soon. And he's learning how to draw on steamy windows, too...

But any ideas?

then I am not free to choose otherwise. Therefore my life is predetermined and I don't have free will. Either God is omnicient or I have free will... both can not be true. Right?

NOTE: If you say "knowing how you will choose is not the same as making someone choose that way" didn't understand the question.
