I asked this question yesterday http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AipVbu8EJr6UrARGoAlv69Psy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20070910094300AAK6Gwl
I'm selling a PDA watch that I haven't used in several months, because I got a blackberry. I was lazy, and only just listed the item last week. I should have tested it first, but I was stupid and tested it later instead. Normally the battery lasts 1-2 days. Now I find that the battery only lasts 1-2 hours. However, the item already has some bids on it. Can I cancel the listing and if so, how do I do it? If I can't cancel it, do I revise? And if I'm only able to revise it, do I contact each bidder and let them know the new information?
So I contacted each of the two bidders, and I also posted a revision on the description yesterday. eBay didn't send me a reply until this morning. However, now I find you cannot cancel a listing if it's under 12 hours left, and unfortunately that's the case.
More to be continued.

Basically I told the bidders that I'd allow them to rescind their bid and not have to follow through. I checked this morning and I haven't received any reply from them.
However, I just checked my eBay a few minutes ago and now there's NEW bidders. So since the problem is now in the description, does that mean the new buyer should now know about the potential battery problem and I don't have to worry about this any more?
