MUST BE VERY SIMPLE RECIPES...I'M NEW TO THIS WHOLE VEGGIE THING.

I am bringing home 2 new kittens. The owner of the mother has just told me that she has treated them for fleas because her one adult cat got out. She used a treatment that is placed on the back....forget what brand she mentioned (hertz maybe). My question is how effective are these treatments and how fast do they work? I do not want to bring fleas into my home. Will the kittens be flea free within a few days? And also, do you think I should treat them (again) and or bath them when we get home? They are 10 weeks old. Also, when is it ok to fix them (1 boy, 1 girl) and when do they start their shoots? Thank you

ast year i messed with this boy and everything was good until he startin making excuses like i have no time with b-ball n skool so i stopped talkin to him. he would say hi on AIM call me once in a while and i do admit i feel for him and we did things but i'm stilla virgin. he IM me lastnite callin me boo and that he loved me and that we needed to hang out . i told he we could only be friends nuttin more and he said y i said cuz u f!ucked up.i started actin like a ***** &he started sayin u changed and my friends were right ur stuck up now . i bascially cussed him out.
I took pplz advice and i apologized because i overracted . so we talked and i started likin him again and he was like i miss u and ur lips i just wanna hold u . he wanted me to sneak out to meet with him and i said idk he kept askin and he said fine i'll go to ur house and then he said wear a skirt and i said y and he was like so i can eat u out . i was surprised but i figured he only wanted to get sum *** right?

I'm a 19-year-old male. I've been bullied my entire life, from preschool to college. My brothers got bullied. My friends get bullied. I can't protect them. I realize that (1) it's not going to stop. It'll happen at work and on the street, (2) it'll only get worse as I make more enemies and lose the protection I got from school disciplinarians or other authorities, and (3) I can't protect my friends if I can't protect myself. I'm sick of being a victim. I want to do something, whether that means a martial art, bodybuilding, or learning how to use a gun. In 2 or 3 years, I want to be strong and respected as such. I want to be able to stand up to anyone, even if it's David ******* Robinson. How can I defend myself?

I was travelling in England a few years back, and waiting for a train at Darlington Railway Station (and I might have got this wrong, but I think it's the world's oldest railway station). I was intrigued to see that the toilet still has a chain flush. I've never come across this before, has anyone else? I hope they don't change it.

Simple questions, hopfully cheap and simple answer. It's 47 degree outside I turn on the heater. The two vents on the passenger side blow nice warm air. The two main vents in the center and the one on the driver's side blow cold air. This really sucks since I am the driver. Thank god the heated seats work. Any thoughts?

Since i was 5 years old and now 14 they're always fighting 7 times or 8 every year. Because of my father, every little thing he's quarreling my mom and every time he lose in gambling he always blame my mom and when he got home he's in rage like throwing things and the foods on the table. I'm worried about my future and my 4 little siblings as well. We are also run out of money because of the habit of my father in gambling. I can't stand no more.

I've been living with this girl for over a month - she never locks the doors, never takes out the trash (she'll put out her own trash bag instead of taking out the communal trash). She never cleans her hair and she sheds like a dog (I have very short hair and only do my hair in my room). She continually leaves dirty plates on the countertop (even though we have a small roach problem) and has left a dirty pot with oil in it in the oven for over a week. She also says she only likes to clean with wet paper towels and doesn't believe that disinfectants/cleaners like Lysol do any good because they leave 1% of germs there. So far, I've been doing the cleaning and taking out the trash without saying anything, but I don't know how much I can take. We signed a lease for a year (I didn't know her be4 she was a friend of a very good friend, so I guess I could be blamed) so I'm stuck here. She's not an outright slob and I don't want to be a *****, but she's very inconsiderate. What do i do?

someone who drinks heavily everyweekend to the point they vomiting/ passing out. they also have developed a high tolerence to alcohol. they also drinkit any time they can in social situations even if its in the morning. They love talking about alcohol and every one of there cool stories revolve around them being drunk. This person also seems social awkward without alcohol and shy. I have done some searching on this site and every question about America that I go to there are answers like "America is a racist, evil country, or America sucks". And I want to know, why do people say things like that? You have no right to judge a country where most of those people who insult the U.S have never been to! Every country has it's ups and downs, I mean, take a look at Britan, they might have a healthcare program, but it is a total bureaucracy over there! Those people think that they can judge America just from what they hear from the news. And I am asking you how can you judge a country where you don't know the people. So what if we have racist, evil people? Every country in the world does! Instead of judging us by the bad, judge us by the good! Look at Operah Winfrey! She traveled to South Africa to give Christmas to those who never had it! There are good people here too! So why judge us and hate us? That is what I am asking you.

When I got home I pulled the plugs and bumped the key water came out.I then sprayed a small amount of transmission fluid in . and cranked away.After that I put the plugs back in drained the water seperator and after a bit she fired up!!
