Okay, I admit, and I have admitted before, I am overweight. I have compulsive overeating disorder, and have been struggling with my weight since 03/04. I lose a lot, then I lose focus because of some event like losing my job, and gain a lot back.

Throughout, I have always remained very active. I love to workout, I love to run. I am cardiovascularly very fit, it just doesn't look like it because my eating is compensating and I am still overweight.

The thing that is getting on my nerves is the way people don't believe my athletic achievements! I have completed 1 full marathon, 3 half marathons, one 15K, two 10Ks, and many 5Ks and 4 milers. I have medals, pictures, and finisher's certificates to prove it, and you can even look up my finish times online. Not to mention a DVD of me crossing certain checkpoints throughout my marathon INCLUDING the finish line.

Why is it, when I say I ran a marathon, people look me up and down and say, "YOU ran a marathon?!" It's insulting!

The studio was filled with the rich odour of roses, and when the light summer wind stirred amidst the trees of the garden, there came through the open door the heavy scent of the lilac, or the more delicate perfume of the pink-flowering thorn.
From the corner of the divan of Persian saddle-bags on which he was lying, smoking, as was his custom, innumerable cigarettes, Lord Henry Wotton could just catch the gleam of the honey-sweet and honey-coloured blossoms of a laburnum, whose tremulous branches seemed hardly able to bear the burden of a beauty so flamelike as theirs; and now and then the fantastic shadows of birds in flight flitted across the long tussore-silk curtains that were stretched in front of the huge window, producing a kind of momentary Japanese effect, and making him think of those pallid, jade-faced painters of Tokyo who, through the medium of an art that is necessarily immobile, seek to convey the sense of swiftness and motion. The sullen murmur of the bees shouldering their way through the long unmown grass, or circling with monotonous insistence round the dusty gilt horns of the straggling woodbine, seemed to make the stillness more oppressive. The dim roar of London was like the bourdon note of a distant organ.
In the centre of the room, clamped to an upright easel, stood the full-length portrait of a young man of extraordinary personal beauty, and in front of it, some little distance away, was sitting the artist himself, Basil Hallward, whose sudden disappearance some years ago caused, at the time, such public excitement and gave rise to so many strange conjectures.
As the painter looked at the gracious and comely form he had so skilfully mirrored in his art, a smile of pleasure passed across his face, and seemed about to linger there. But he suddenly started up, and closing his eyes, placed his fingers upon the lids, as though he sought to imprison within his brain some curious dream from which he feared he might awake.
"It is your best work, Basil, the best thing you have ever done," said Lord Henry languidly. "You must certainly send it next year to the Grosvenor. The Academy is too large and too vulgar. Whenever I have gone there, there have been either so many people that I have not been able to see the pictures, which was dreadful, or so many pictures that I have not been able to see the people, which was worse. The Grosvenor is really the only place."

An agent who used to let out my property is letting out my property without my consent and is not giving me the possession of my property. And he takes all the money from the tenants and gives me nothing. He threatens me at times and tell me to do whatever I want to do.
I have served the occupiers a notice under section 21(1)(b) and 21(4)(a) making sure any tenancy agreement they may have done with the agent comes to an end. Did I do the right thing? Now I am waiting for the date to get over so I can get a CCJ and bailiff and get the occupiers out of my property? This is the right procedure or what can be done? I cant afford a lawyer. Please help. Thanks

Something wrong with her or only the wish to disappear?
a person left where she is being staying suddenly she started to be agressive few days before .she had gone saying that: she love my friend and would come back ;;;the day after, she putted out all her photos in myspace and the video about a music, that they use to ear and say to nobody write there, only to her email. she putted in her myspace some agressive communities as : leave myspace in peace...what you coming to see here? and it was her that use to do that with my friend ... after one month she erased myspace profile. In her family profile , sister, brother, nobody talks about her and even then are not using mysapace anymore .what do you think that could happen?something wrong with her or only the wish to disappear?
