I am doing a paper on different definitions of the word “Enemy”. I don’t want dictionary definitions (unless they are exotic) because I can look them up on my own. I am using this part of the paper for “other peoples personal definitions” So if you can include maybe your; religion, race, gender, age, province, other personal info, or best all of these. It would make you a better source because of the diversity and citation. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!

Ok, so now the McCanns have been named as suspects, and the police think they may, accidentally or no, have had some part in the death of their daughter, they have allowed them to leave the police station, and return to look after their other two children. Surely they could be putting the twins in danger by doing this? If there is the slightest suspision that the parents harmed their daughter, should they be allowed to continue to look after their other children, potentially putting them at risk?

I just moved to Chicago after working on a telemetry floor in MA. I am now looking for a new job. I am interested in both the OR and the NICU. I have been interviewed for both positions, but I can't decide which area I'd be happier in. Any suggestions?

I think another universe existed before. My theory is that the universe was expanding then crunching thousands of times. But even if that theory is correct, how was their a universe in the first place. Hit me with as much theories as possible!

I mean think about it, gravity is only a "theory", so that must mean that science has no evidence for it. I think we should look to the bible and disregard what science says, I mean, all scientists are out to abolish christianity anyway. Look at jesus, he walked on water and he ascended into heaven. I mean I should be able to choose if gravity is real or not, we should teach the theory of gravity side by side with the belief that it is some kind of force put here by god in schools and let the kids decide, afterall it is only a theory, I mean, how much merit can a scientific theory have? it isn't like it is backed up by the bible. If you are smart, you will discard science and its false prophets and come to the one true lord.

Which of these massive American cities would you prefer, and why?

You can rank them too, if you like. For instance, my ranking from most to least preferred is:
1. New York. The economic, cultural, and social capital of the free world! I'm not trying to incite any altercations; heck, I'm not even from NYC. But, if you can't find it in NYC, do you really need it? Not to mention, the people are a very unique breed--rude yet sweet, kind yet brutally blunt, helpful yet very rushed.
2. Chicago: I'm sorry, but this city has some of my least favorite (and the meanest) people in the universe. The city still has many great qualities, it's just not any place I would live.
3. Los Angeles: the Pacific coastline is the only thing that impresses me. Hollywood's a dump, downtown is boring, and the smog is horrific.

In any distillation for maximum efficiency of the column, the distilling flask should be approximately 1/2 full of liquid. Comment on this fact in terms of a) a flask that is too full and b) a flask that is nearly empty.

I don't know about a)...

For b), it shouldn't be nearly empty because the liquid might dry out before you can get the distilled solution? Or it won't make enough distilled solution???

I got a full physical-- results of fasting blood test --Triglycerides 299 &Thyroid "barely" abnormal Hyper. I am not losing weight, I am overweight, I'm 5'2" 140 lb. My dad has to test his blood sugar several times a day (does not yet take medication) and my paternal grandmother has diabetes, but my blood sugar came back 87. I have had several situations where I get clammy, shaky so much so I can hardly walk, anxious & have nausea, after I get some food it takes about a 1/2 hr. to feel normal again. I also get real tired in the afternoon, plus I have hemorhoid problems which might have to be removed surgically (yes, I am a mess). I will be following up with my Doc but does anyone out there have these types of problems & how have you handled them? Thanks for all constructive advice--please don't tell me to get off my fat butt and get some exercise--I do swim, do water aerobics and get on my treadmill. Thank you in advance to all who reply.

I'm a San Diegan... and I want to move to San Francisco. Just the enviroment and the places itself made me fall in loove with that city.
The thing is I'm majoring in Veterinarian Med. and will be attending UCDavis. I still want to live in the Downtown Area of SF. Is the commute ridiculous, and should i just consider living more near Davis? Or would the 1hr+ be managable??
I seriously love SF.
