Yes but it usually requires a program that will "undelete" those files since the are usually still there. When we delete files the system marks the files as gone but the aren't unless you have software the removes the files by overwriting them several times with other information. Since the files aren't really gone when you use delete in windows, etc the "undelete" software looks for the information on the hard drive and then allows you to restore the file if it has not been overwritten or corrupted since the system says it no longer there.

In addition to the previous answer, you can do the following:
1. Search the recycle bin for files of a known type (ie. of the type of the files you deleted). Sometimes this may reveal more files than the recycle bin shows initially.
2. If the files you deleted are absolutely necessary for you to recover, you can resort to specialized software. Even though a file is deleted by you, it is still present on your hard disk despite the fact that you see no sign of it in your recycle bin. The file will be lost from your hard disk only if it is overwritten in normal usage several times.

Sure. There are tons of recovery tools available in the net. Try this great free one, Recuva.
http://www.recuva.com
It shows you all the files that have ever been deleted from your PC, along with their status, and restores the files that you select.
If the status is 'poor' you might want to forget about it, as the deleted file is damaged beyond control.
