I had a one night stand with a guy friend of mine a little while ago, and I recently went to the doctor and found out that he gave me herpes! and he is only the second person I have ever slept with. What should I say to him, if anything? I've heard that some people may not even know that they have it, but I really don't know what to say.

And don't be mean please it's devastating enough finding out that I'll have to deal with this for the rest of my life.

Have you ever just been hanging out, doing your own thing and then all of a sudden feel like something is touching you?

Just a slight caress, or tickle like feeling of being touched.
And if you don't move, it continues, but there is nothing there that you can see?
And if you move or touch the place, it stops, yet perhaps there may be times when it does not stop...

Why do you think this happens?

admit it over 90% of the stuff in the "news", are BAD news. nothing good ever happens in the news.

and its always disturbing when reading about some plane that crashed or whatever, because deep inside you know something like that can happen to you

so why read news? like me, I don't read news anymore. I stay at home all day, troll on YA!, watch videos on youtube (happy videos), eat some smilies potatoes, have some apple juice and go to bed. why focus on negative news?

I have a kidney failure and the waiting list for a kidney where I live can take between 7-10 years longer for me since I am Type O positve. For now I've been getting dialysis treatment 4 times a week and am getting worse since now I also have Lupus. One of my sisters had hers tested but when UCLA called her to let her know that she's a match, she never called them back. My Dad and sister would tell people how sorry they feel for me and that they want to donate their kidney but it's all talk. When they needed things from me, I was always helping, now that I need help, they are all gone. How would you feel about this situation? I have 3 kids and my husband is not a match so he can't donate. I've decided to stay out of my familys life for now because it hurts to know that no one seems to care.

I'm in high school, but I still can't pass Pre Algebra. I got a worksheet today, but I don't understand it. No, I'm not asking you to do my homework, I'm just asking for help.
The worksheet says:
For this task you will use deductive reasoning to determine which of the digits from 0 to 9 each of the letters represents. Each of the digits from 0 to 9 is used exactly once.

1. g + g + g = d

2. j + e = j

3. g times g= d

4. b + g = d

5. f - b = c

6. a x c = a

I kind of understand the instuctions, from what I understand you have to figure out what the letters are and what number they are. But I can't figure out how to do it. =[

In the recent news there have been many headlines that a military general named Patreaus, will give a report to congress next week regarding the current condition and progress of war in Iraq. The problem is that so far all assessments about iraq and how the war is going, has been made by Bush administration itself or the military generals who aren't retired. That is a clear conflict of interest because unretired military generals cannot speak against war since Bush is commander in chief. Shouldn't assessments and war situation reports in Iraq be provided by a NON-PARTISAN and NEUTRAL agency which has no affiliation to Bush or military? I seriously doubt credibility of such generals and the Bush administration regarding iraq because they are all for war. What do you think -- should a non-political, non-military organization assess iraq situation or would you believe word per word what aides of Bush and military generals speak?

Consider the following scenario:
A person has contributed to his company discounted share purchase program over years (post tax dollars). He moved 1000 accumulated shares to his brokerage account and now is planning to sell the shares. The brokerage account shows a cost basis of the share price at the time of the transfer.
What is used as the cost basis while calculating the capital gains tax? Please note that the 1000 shares were accumulated over many years with much volatility in the market (hence difficult to calculate cost basis).
