one particularly odd individual revealed in an answer yesterday that (s)he keeps books written by male authors in the other room.
I've never heard of such an organization scheme. I've heard of sorting alphabetically, or by genre, and even chronologically. But I never would have imagined that a feminist would banish male authors to a distant corner of the house. I mean, frankly, I'm floored, but now I wonder...
I've been wondering if this is a common feminist trait, or just the quirk of one certain self-loathing individual. Is Sarah McLachlan on the shelf at eye level while Seal is in a plastic milk crate in the basement, and are these placements based on gender?
Please explain - the more convoluted, the better.
