has anyone read a child called it? what do you think about it, i think they should make that a movie

It's been years since I read it. The part that troubled me is that the story really happened. It bothers me that there are really people out there that are that evil.
Many a great book has been ruined by making it into a movie. Unless they can be true to the book AND do a good job at it, I think it should be left well enough alone.

Have you read the sequel, "The Lost Boy"? It deals with his life after leaving his abusive mother.

I think a movie would be too depressing to watch and might be tramatic on the actor. I read all three of his books and thought they were well written for all that he went through.
