I really need your help.Im trying to find information about b cross or b shieldHas any one been covered by them for inpatient or hospital stay? or works in an dr office that knows how insurance co. determine if they can cover you? what are some tips from people w/ similar experience wth them?do you know what reasons they try to eliminate or underwriters use to not cover you?It would be life saving..please give as much details if you had similar exp. or if you know how they work ,its an individual plan if thats any help...thanks

Does anyone else agree that only possible answer to the equation above is Big Brother?

Big Business needs as powerful a Big Government as it can get to keep itself BIG. Big government needs more and more ways to watch us and control us to keep the taxes coming. Together they are one big happy family.

To meet its clear. Liberals and Conservatives have been played by the parties that supposedly represent them. Can't both sides see that?

I love to eat meat.. but when i vote I vote: VEGAN

No pork. Period.. NONE.
No bull. We hear bull we vote for other guy!
No sheep. Thats us. No more of that.
No snakes. Vote out career politicians.
No fish. Something smells in Washington (and most state capitols.. Illinois is VERY stinky)

Does anyone have anything that they do when they have a cold or know they are getting one??

I woke up this morning and I feel one coming on. I dont like taking cold and flu stuff and I feel I get worse when I do.
I'm drinking orange juice for my vit c at mo. Anything herbal or that sort of thing I can do or eat?

this is a long one.
my mother works in a paint factory.two years ago they brought the smoking ban in and provided a smoking shelter.my mother asked if she could smoke in her car in the company car park and was told no.she has to clock out to go to the smoking shelter. which is situated in the carpark .so she asked if she could leave her car outside company property and smoke in there, she was told no because she cant leave the property in her 15 min break because she gets paid for it . every thing was fine until they took two sides of the shelter down yesterday due to legislation. she is dreading winter coming as it will be freezing in the ''shelter'' can she legally ask not to be paid for her breaks so that she can leave the site to smoke out in her car?

All we ever seem to do is fight - and while some of these questions and answers are really interesting and informative, enough already...!!

Why don't we use this forum for a more positive dialogue? Muslims: accept that Israel has a right to exist!
Jews: accept that the Muslims who lived in Palestine have had a terrible time!

I'm fifteen and for about a month I have an odd sensation in my left hand pinky that I can only describe as numbness. It's almost as if my hand fell asleep, that kind of tingling feeling, but it won't go away. I'm right handed, by the way.

My mom had Carpal Tunnel surgery about a year ago. She was in her early forties, and has a history of severe arthritis since childhood (if that's important at all). For about two years before surgery she complained of numbness and tingling in her hand. Later on it turned to burning and shooting pains. It affected her forefinger, middle finger and ring finger. She never specifically mentioned her pinky.

I play several instruments, type stories on my computer sometimes for hours on end, embroider only with my left hand, and I'm afraid it might be something like carpal tunnel. My mom had surgery, and the sensations are gone but she cannot sew anymore and complains that her hand is weaker than it was.

Does it sound like Carpal Tunnel? What can I do?
