we have been training since he turned 2, and i have no idea what to try next. i know he can do it, as we have had dry weeks in the past, but i have to prompt him every time to go... it's like he has no idea he needs to go till it's too late. if i keep prompting him,he will never learn to need to go will he?
he NEVER has accidents when we are out (even for a whole afternoon), so i know he can hold on if he needs to, but he forgets at home and nursery.
we have tried stickers, sweeties if he uses the potty (worked for a bit, but sat on it several times in a hour, squeezed out a tiny drop, and demanded reward, so not really getting the point), small pressie if he stays dry all day, but he lost interest after a couple of pressie free days. he has just wet all over the new study carpet, and just doesn't seem to care.
HELP!!!

I'm not married, but I've been living with my fiance for some years now. We are engaged and planning our wedding. Every once and awhile a question or answer here pops up reffering to a spouse as a family member or people say when you get married you're starting a new family.

This is a bizarre concept to me. I could not imagine considering him family. He's not! He's a partner in crime! Harhar.

Then again I am not close to my family.

I was to get started soon but he has very poor speech for his age. His intellect is fine, hes quite clever but his speech delay really prevents him from understanding simple instructions. He is now 2 years and 3 months. I do alot of work with him in relation to his talking and he will attend speech therapy. Slowly the words are coming but I just havent a clue how to approach toilet training. I have a 6 year old who was talking, no lie fron 6 months and he trained relatively easy. He understood what I asked of him! Anybody out there that has or had a similar situation to me?

And God spoke all these words, saying: “I am the LORD your God …

You shall have no other gods before Me. If you don’t mind. God has been queuing for ages. It’s only right. Although I suppose God does have a full basket, and Ra over there is only buying a Ginster’s pastie. It sort of seems rude not to let him through, God supposes. Although God would like to get out of here and have some lunch soon. God is so hungry, God could eat a Horus. So watch out! Hahaha. God amuses Himself. But seriously: God is first.

You shall not make for yourself a carved image - any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. God doesn’t mean to be rude, but have you considered actually going and studying art? Because, ultimately, that’s not a fish you’ve just carved. It looks a bit like a poo.

You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain. God apologizes for shouting the word LORD. God just wants to emphasis it, you know. To prove that God is your LORD. If you shout, you’re automatically right and should not be questioned. It lends you a sense of authority, you see. That’s why they do it on cable news. God thinks they might have learned it from those evangelical ministers. God doesn’t talk to them, by the way. God thinks they’re crazy. Don’t argue. God is your LORD.

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Heaven and Hell Tour 2007, baby! God likes to rock out.

Honor your father and your mother. Actually, God will Honor your mother. Mmm-hmm-hmmmm. God loves you, cute momma.

You shall not kill. Except in cases of political disagreement, civil unrest, land disputes, national security, silencing whistle-blowers for corporate gain, convenience, punishment, or any other reason, really. It’s just, you’ve got to have a permit. Okay?

You shall not commit adultery. But let’s face it, you’re going to ignore this one. So how about, you shall not commit adultery if you don’t have enough money to appear to be a respectable member of society. And someone tell that Joseph Smith to keep it in his pants …

You shall not steal. Except at Costco, where their Labor Day prices are insane! Also, the natural resources of nations you choose to invade. And stuff from people you kill.

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. However, if he carves images of anything that is in the earth, you may witness false bears. God made a funny. God is great.

You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his adulterous lover, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor his iPod, nor his Nintendo Wii, nor his Hummer, because let’s face it, it’s a nightmare to run with gas prices as they are, nor his disco skills, nor his vintage pumps, nor his fine ***, nor anything that is your neighbor’s. God’s recommendation: break in and steal the lot.

When global warming occured in the twenties and thirties it had nothing to do with CO2. What is different about today? The only difference I see is that you are measuring CO2 on the worlds largest active volcanoe.

My dear sweet daughter packed up and went to live with her dad during the month of May. (who lives right down the road). We had an argument regarding her b/f -- she wanted to stay overnight at his house! I laid the law down and off she goes -- anyhow! While at her dad's (who works all the time and is rarely home) -- she got her bellybutton pierced! (not professionally, but by a friend of a friend)......I just found this out (yesterday) by finding "weird jewelry" sitting on her bathroom sink. (I was in there fixing the towel rack she broke). I asked her about it and she admitted it. Thought it looked "cute." I have always told her no piercings! no tatoos! Nothing like this til you are over the age of 18 and out on your own. She knows how I feel about this -- always has - but yet....she did it anyway. I'm at a loss -- yes, she's 17 --- but! still!! by the way, she's back living with me (stayed with her dad a month only).....I'm at a loss....do I just throw up my hands?

i had to print name cards as a favour and taped them with masking tape to a4 to make it easier. this worked fine till a piece of masking tape removed itself mid-print! The paper then got wedged - I KNOW you are not supposed to pull the paper out the front but yes i did it :(
I took the back off, found and removed said piece of tape. Now the printer has gone haywire! The black cartridge (it was printing colour for the name things) is running streaky after first page of print but i think the colour one is fine. i removed it to fill it up, but sometimes it says new cart. installed when i haven't and i've tried to clean it to no avail. It prints the test page everytime i turn it on. Any ideas? Have i knocked something or cartridge in wrong? Can i clean it better?
thanks

oone except geniuses would know you were doing it? And how would you handle the ones who figured that out?

I believe my daughter is doing this, and I don't see a way to stop her. She is allergic to cats and she owns an exotic cat in her trailer and is breathing unfiltered dander into her lungs in quantities great enough that I feel my breathing strained when I go over there! What can I do?

She uses the prescribed medicines to keep herself from coughing as much, but they are masking the problem, the cat!

My "somewhat boyfriend" is having trouble balancing his homosexuality and being the devout Catholic that he is. He doesn't believe that he can both be a minister of his faith and be in a serious relationship with another male. He practices music ministry as well as ministers to youth. Can someone please give me help on this on how to explain to him that this is not a problem. He believes that he has to be two different people and doesn't fell right trying to do so, which is understandable. He's the type of person who needs hard concrete evidence. In a short period of time I have truly fallen in love with him and want to do everything in my power not to loose him. Please help me.
