I'm from the United States, and I'm looking for a good bread.

I know I should have whole wheat, whole grain, but can someone give me specific brands that they've found are more healthy than others?

I eat 100% whole wheat bread with no corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup or other junk. The brand we buy, Meijer grocery store brand, does have honey in it, but it's in the bottom of the list. (For me, honey is a gray area and it's the only bread with a decent price on that my husband and I agree.)

Maybe some of the whole multi-grains are healthier, but they're also more expensive. What we buy now works for us now.

Aunt Millie's Lite Whole Grain or Five Grain Bread. It is made from whole grain (a good source of fiber) and is only 40 calories per slice.

Whole wheat bread is no different the white bread.

Additional information about weight loss:

While carbohydrates have received a lot of negative attention, you need carbohydrates for energy. Your brain can only use carbohydrates so you absolutely need them in your diet. Good carbohydrates are breads made from whole grain, unprocessed oats and oatmeal, sourdough bread and fruits and vegetables.

Suggestions on how to have a healthy diet and/or lose weight:

1) Consider the glycemic index of the food you eat. You can determine the gycemic index by multiplying the number of carbohydrates by 4 and dividing that result by the total number of calories. For example, if you are eating a snack with 10 grams of carbohydrates and 70 total calories, you take 10 x 4 (40) divided by 70 = .57. Low GI is food with an index of less than 55; moderate GI food is 56-69; high GI food is 70 and above. To maintain your existing weight include at least one low GI food in each meal. To lose weight each mostly low GI foods with a small amount of moderate low GI foods.

2) Consider the fat content of the foods you eat. You should eat roughly 25-30 grams of fat per day. Food without carbohydrates like meat have no GI, so monitor the fat content.

3) Eat 25 grams of fiber per day. Whole wheat and white bread have no fiber.

4) Eat between 1200 - 1600 calories per day to lose weight. Once you have lost the weight and continue monitoring the GI of the foods you eat you can eat 2000 calorie per day and not regain the weight you lost.

5) Exercise so the weight you lose is fat not muscle mass.

6) Drink plenty of water. Dehydration can be confused with hunger.

Not that I know of, just make sure it's 100% whole wheat, not honey wheat. All the nutients are in the crust, so you should eat it or don't waste your money on it. I've been eating wheat since I was little and my children eat it too. Sometimes we switch up but we always go back to the good ol' trusty dusty.

No need for you to be conscious on what bread to eat. Because all you have to do is simply get rid of carbonated drinks, sweets, spicy, fatty and salty food. Then eat only friuts and vegetables. Then drink 10-15 glasses of water everyday. This is so effective. Try it!
I lose weight from 75kilos to 63 kilos in 3 months and I am still doing it for a year now and I am just maintaining my weight from 63kilos-60kilos.
