please help, where can i download an earlier version of avi video converter?

if anybodys knows then please tell me, i have tried version 7.5 and version 8 but somethings not right, it downloads ok and when i try to convert an avi file it says thats its done , so then i use dvd shrink, i go to play it on my dvd player but nothing happens , it comes up with no disc, PLEASE HELP.......

Why don't you try to use the Nero software ?
The Nero can convert some media files into another format and then it helps to burn some media files after converting into DVDs that can be played on almost DVD Players

Try using vsoconvertxtodvd it converts lots of files,certainly avi
