Hello,
I am a new hermit crab owner. The bigger one, Fred, I got first. He is very active and very friendly. About a week later I got another, Maple, she is smaller. They seemed to have got along well when I was introducing them. When I woke up the other morning Maple had lost a leg. I was nervous. Then I noticed that she started turning white on her legs. Also she is keeping one leg out when she goes into her shell. Now I am noticing that Fred is slowly turning white. Do you know what this is? I would appreciate any advise you can give me.

I don't want to break up w/ my fiance... been together for 11 years. He wants a break-up (but seems to have a hard time actually doing it). He says he's not happy and wants his freedom. I have an old 8mm video camera that I want to use to transfer to DVD but I can't find the original ac/dc adapter for it. I have one for another camera with the same amperage (2A) but the adapter puts out 7.4 V instead of the 6V rated for the camera I want to run. How close do I have to get in voltage [assuming the polarity matches] without causing serious damage? What if I used a cheap wall-wart that puts out 6V but only a measly 300mA?

I just got my first bunny he is still a baby and I want to let him loose in my room to hop and play and do... bunny things... and I have been reading alot on bunny proofing, i have cardboard and boards put up all around my room to keep him from getting into anything dangerous, my question is, is there any kind of paint I can use to paint these boards to make them a bit more attractive but safe for my bunny if and when he chews on them?

I purchased an orchid about 4 months ago. I beleive it is a Phaleonopsis orchid. It lives in a pot in my apartment. It lost all it's blooms about 2 months ago. Will it bloom again? How long will it take? Do I need to trim the stem that the old flowers were on, or will it bloom again on the old stem? Just want some more basic info!

Here's the situation: I moved to Seattle from Georgia six months ago. I love Seattle and am very happy here except I miss my friends and my dog terribly. My plan was to fly my dog out this fall. However, I really want to go to graduate school, which means I will be unable to take care of him. So do I go back to Georgia (where I am not too fond of) and at least be able to visit my dog at my parent's house and hang with friends or stay in the prettiest, coolest city ever?

In 1987 I opened a policy on ex. He never paid for the policy, I tried to cash it in when the kids were 18. I was told there was no cash value. So I kept paying on it, because I spent so much on it all ready. He never paid a dime on it. It's my policy and I'm beneficiary. He had many bills outstanding. Am I reponsible to pay them. Can they use my policy to pay .

A plain circle ' O ' is in one dimension, a sphere is three dimensions, is a Mobus strip a two dimensional circle/sphere? Is a Klein bottle a two dimensional surface or the first instance of a true surface? (by def a surface has x & y dimensions )
Do these forms carry on into more dimensions?

i have noticed that everything i will drive pass a motorcyclist on the opposite lane the would extend there left arm out towards the ground. This was happen many times by different motorcyclist. Is this some kind of friendly wave or something

I just got contacts on Monday. I have been trying to get used to them and in the first two days, thought what I was seeing was just my eyes adjusting, but I don't think it is. My left eye and contact seem okay. It is a toric lens. My right eye, which actually has better unaided vision than the left is giving me problems. The right eye has slight astigmatism, apparently that cannot be corrected with soft contact lenses and so it is just a +.50 Rx. And I have noticed some "ghosting," especially with things produced by light (computer monitors, headlights, tv screens). If I cover the left eye, it goes away, so I know it's the right eye. I just can't help but think my vision is actually WORSE with the right contact in!!

What can I do?

Is there a contact lens made for "slight" astigmatism?

(I have my follow up appointment on Tuesday, so there's no point in going in early. I'm just looking for some input so I can have an intelligent conversation with my doctor.)
