Here's the situation: I moved to Seattle from Georgia six months ago. I love Seattle and am very happy here except I miss my friends and my dog terribly. My plan was to fly my dog out this fall. However, I really want to go to graduate school, which means I will be unable to take care of him. So do I go back to Georgia (where I am not too fond of) and at least be able to visit my dog at my parent's house and hang with friends or stay in the prettiest, coolest city ever?

Since you are extremely happy with living in Seattle.
Then you should stay and go ahead with your plans to go to grad school.
Is your parents OK with keeping the dog?
You can always take trips back home to visit your friends and family and vice versa.

Enjoy your new life.. Sounds like you are Happy.
