I called my mom and there's nothing she can do, we're having a big party for my grandma's b-day on Saturday. Please give me ideas.

If you have a tv, there's always plopping him in front of that. But I wouldn't recommend that.:)
1. You can make bubbles using dish liquid and ( i think) a little water, you'd just have to find something to blow them with.
2.Does he like spinning, you could spin him around.
3.if you have paint , put on some old clothes, and put newspaper or plastic on the floor so it doesn't get messy.
4.Try reading him a book, point at the pictures, ask him if he wants to read it to you etc.
5.hide and seek( he won't be very good at it, but he'll have fun.My 3 yr old nephew will count to five, skipping 2!, and then hide, if I tell him i'm going to hide, come find me after you count to 5)
6.if he has cars get on the ground and with him.
7.If nothing helps just hold him, pat his back, talk to him until he calms down.
8.He might be hungry or thirsty, so fix him a snack.

Those are great ideas. You might also try singing silly songs or doing silly things to make him laugh. Does he have a fav. blanket or stuffed animal that might help to comfort. Also reading or watching a movie. If he's allowed, some candy or a fav.treat might work. If he keeps crying you might want to call your mom she might have a suggestion that would work. Good Luck!!

Play the Where is mommy game. Help him look in everyroom for mommy, and then say nope she isnt in here and go to another room in the house. I makes it fun and i bet by the time you are done with the game, your parent will be home!

My son has his fav blanket, we lay it outy on the floor, he sits on it, and I pull it along the ground, and tell him he is on a train ride. Then he can put his toys on it and he can give his toys a train ride.
