What about Suzuki and Kawasaki? I filled out a credit application for a Harley Sporster 883 Low and was told I would need a co-signer. I was wondering if other brands of motorcycles would be easier to get financed.

Multiple sizes would be good too. So, I have some for the fruits and vegitables and some for carrying everything and some for cold items, etc.

I have seen them mostly in canvas but other materials are ok as long as they will stand up to LOTS of use for many years.

Are 5 year olds supposed to know patterns and read chapter books? My 5 year old knows basic patterns, but my family is telling me that she is behind because she hasn't known them "long enough" or something, and because she can't read whole books yet. She's known her alphabet, numbers, shapes (including trapezoid, octagon, pentagon), colors etc since she was 3 years old, but she's just recently starting to learn phonics, and she's gotten some down pat so far. I don't think she's BEHIND! She's not a genius, but I think she's on the right track.

I think my family is trying to scare me because I insist on homeschooling, and they want me to enroll her in public school. So they're trying to tell me that she's behind and needs help, in order to lure me in. I've talked to other moms with kids her age that say my daughter's fine, and so does my mom...who's a public school teacher. But I'm here for more opinions.

I sell books on Amazon and I'm constanly shipping. Amazon reimburses me $3.99 for shipping, but I'm spending a lot more than that. Is there a way to ship for $3.99? These are regular size books.

If an extension cord is plugged into a surge protector then into the wall, and it is less than 6 ft long, is that still considered a fire hazard? Also, how exactly can the fire be started? Both the surge protector and the cord are grounded.

I was online and my dad did not sign out of his email account..I know it was wrong but I looked at his email and found emails he has written to a woman!! He wrote things like he and my mom have not had sex in ten years and he will not divorce her because there is to much money involved and my brother has a learning disability (he is 32 yrs old) it would break his heart....he wrote things in his emails about his love for this woman how much he loves her ect.. I felt sick to my stomach after reading them and wish i haven't..I know my parents have had problems they sleep in separate bedrooms..my mom is always nagging him about money..I always though they slept in separate bedrooms because of his sleep apnea machine (my mom complains about the noise) but according to his email its that way because they just don't sleep togther anymore--I don't know how I am gonna look at my father after reading all this..

Why does the number 7 pop up in so many religions, folklore, and fairy tales? Where does this obsession with the number stem from? We have 7 skies, 7 heavens, 7 seas, 7 climes, 7 days in the week, 7 dwarves, 7 sins... ALso, becoming 7 years old is considered to be a turning point in child development. And there's the so called 7-year-itch in marriage. There's a definite cyclicality about the number 7 and I was just wondering if anyone has any insight regarding the sociological significance of 7.

Hello everyone. I had a question regarding Plasma TV's. I'm planning on buying one so I'm trying to budget myself. If I buy a Plasma TV and want that excellent picture quality, do I also have to buy some type of adapter to bring out that excellent quality? Or is it enough to just plug it in and have Directv installed with it? I ask because about 8 years ago when I bought a TV, someone at the store was telling me that I also had to purchase separately a HDTV adapter in order to bring out that superb picture quality. I was just wondering if televisions became more advanced. I would appreciate info from anyone who has knowledge on this subject. Thanks!

my son and I have a freshwater aquarium with various wild critters, including snails, catfish, and crawdads...all things that we have caught from our local river.

Yesterday, I noticed that my largest crawdad, about 3 inches long, completely disappeared.

About 2 days prior, I also noticed that 2 of our store bought gold fish were gone...I originally thought that the crawdad musta been hungry, but now I am thinking I have a whole bermuda triangle thing going on.

Does anyone have any ideas as to where my crawdad could have gone? And how long they can live out of the aquatic environment?

I am really not looking forward to finding a dead and rotting crawdad...lol
