I sell books on Amazon and I'm constanly shipping. Amazon reimburses me $3.99 for shipping, but I'm spending a lot more than that. Is there a way to ship for $3.99? These are regular size books.

It is costing me up to $7.00 to ship. That is using the Flat Rate envelopes.

There might be. It does depend on the book weight. If you are serious about shipping, you should buy a shipping scale that will work for your books (I recommend a digital one, you can buy it off of eBay).

You can find the exact weight of each book, then you measure the book's dimensions and go to USPS.com. Pick Regular First Class shipping. You can print a label immediately that will cost you exactly the amount needed, and you pay online. That is the cheapest method possible, and it could save you money.

Hi,

I am not sure exactly if there is a cheaper way as shipping depends on the weight of each book. How much does shipping cost you? Perhaps contact Amazon and let them know that $3.99 is not enough. Maybe try your local courier? That would probably be more expensive though... Or you can ask the buyer to cover the shipping.

Take Care and hope this helps.

Will they fit in the Post Office flat rate envelope ?
That's only about 25 cents more I think .
Used to be $3.80 but went up in May .
