called Heads up 7up? I just heard it on TV and I cannot remember exactlly how it went. I remember you had to put your head down and put your thumb up and somebody pushing it down. But I don't remember the point of it. Does anybody remember?

John 14:23 states: “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”

The Father and Jesus will come to us and dwell with us. How can the Father and Jesus dwell in us if we consider Jesus as a human being like you and me?

Jesus also said in Matthew 28:19-20 – “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

If Jesus is just a human being, how can He be with us “always, even unto the end of the world”?

What is your opinion on the matter?

I have a Compac presario with no available slots for upgrade on USBs. They are soldered to motherboard. It does have Windows Xp, but it was a ME. In device manager, it does not have any enhanced USB, so I'm assumng it's 1.1. We bought a new film scanner and it ONLY works with 2.0 and XP, so buying new CPU probably would do nothing for us, because of Vista. Never had any problems with other plug & plays. An external drive might do it, but will not run any faster than it does now, but at least the driver would be recognized, right? Then again we are talking spending more money (yuk). Any suggestions?

Have you guys heard this joke about the Koran? Hilarious!!

The quran is at a job interview. The boss asks, "Do you have references?" quran replies, "Torah and Bible, call them." So the boss calls Torah, and Torah replies, "I have never heard of him." The amount of hysteria being propagated by the zealots behind anthropogenic global warming has gotten to the point where this is more about Eco-Jihad, and Political dogma against anyone with a dissenting point of view, than a thorough and balanced discussion on the many factors that effect earth and its climate. i.e. urbanization, solar output, greenhouse gases etc. Even though you may feel exactly how Al Gore feels on the subject, I fell it is completely illogical to call the single most important element on this planet "pollution". I'm I right on this? Or am i just another right wing hate mongering corporate toady funded by Big Oil? lol, the latter would justify my initial point about what the advocates of this topic have turned this debate into.

a nice house & car, I'm responsible. I met a man and we went on one date and now three months later, we went out again last night. And while I've made it more than clear to him I wasn't just interested in a hookup but a relationship. We went to dinner and came back to my house to hang out. Well, after three hours of constantly fending him off, he left. My question is what is it about men and sex? why do they persist even when you pretty much say that's not what I want.
