yes i did that many times, i think 2 or 3 times..
i did a blog before about my 360 friends and what i remember about them.
just right click on the pic and "save"

Hmmm.
What an idea for a screen saver.
I can think of quite a few pictures I might be interested in saving.
The fact is that it is easy to save images in jpg format.
Youtubes and slide shows are tricky.
Hmmm.
You can ask some devilish questions sometimes.
What you are talking about is the way many people clone your account. They go to your 360 and take your image and use it for their own avatar.
I would never do that. (Cloning)
Still that screen saver idea is tempting.
That little Devil on my shoulder is kicking the daylights out of his Angel counterpart.
"Do it! Do it!"
"Make some wallet sized and a poster or two."
I guess the question is "Is that an invitation?"
or "Did somebody post your picture in an unflattering way?"
If they did that would wrong.
If it was an invitation then the devil kicked the angels behind for nothing.
But definitely it could be easy especially the background photos.
I can honestly say I have no avatar photos on my computer

I've never done it, but it is very easy to do. Just right click and save to your pics.

no i've never saved anyone's picture (ew, that's kinda stalker-ish and a bit psychotic don't you think?) and yes, it's easy to save. the fact that you can save a total stranger's photo to your computer or them saving yours is kinda creepy too.

right click on the picture, select "save as" and specify the folder to save it in.
