Haha. The "town" I'm from was so remote - the mailman didn't even go down that far (not kidding). Our nearest neighbors were over 10 miles away. We lived in a canyon, with one way in... you had to turn around at the end and exit the same way you came in. And yet....
An escaped convict once wound up in the canyon, after stealing a vehicle and taking a wrong turn. The vehicle ran out of gas. The felon had a rifle (which he got from the stolen truck), and took poor Mrs. Salazar hostage by pretending to need a drink of water, then when she opened the door he had her. Mrs. Salazar was in her 80's. He forced her into her own car at gunpoint, with him driving. He slowed down to cross the creek right next to my Grandmother's house. Mrs. Salazar jumped out of the vehicle as we watched in shock - she got a nasty cut on the head but was okay.
My Dad and Grandad jumped in our truck and chased and apprehended the felon (Mrs. Salazar's car got a flat tire).
So, not really. But it was big for us. Very entertaining.
True Story.

This past spring a guy escaped from a prison near Youngstown, robbed a bank, fled over 100 miles and robbed two more banks, then fled on foot and held a woman hostage for like four hours before he was apprehended. The final scene is like one mile from my house.
My birthtown of Mansfield, Ohio is where Shawshank Redemption was filmed.

People are getting murdered every day, and there are drug busts all over.
Ben Franklin lived here. William Penn lived here, and we are supposedly the "City of Brotherly Love," I'm not seeing too much of it. Betsy Ross made the first American flag here. The Declaration of Independence was signed here.
We are home to cheesesteaks, which are stupendous. We have Tasty Cakes and Rita's Water Ice, which make my life complete.

Well, Danity Kane came to my school. Nothing special, really. They didn't even sing even though Ryan Seacrest said they would be performing.
Let's see...Hilary Clinton's mother and Cheryl Tiegs the model were from my city.
That's pretty much it. Nothing really special.
PS, I live in Alhambra, California.

Ty Pennington came to our town and built a home for a family. I wasn't there to witness it, I had to be in another state to go to school.

i've got heard even Christians say issues like "the Printer God could desire to like me in the present day", so as this is in all probability why she did no longer pay any interest to it. it is in comparison to you have been declaring your faith as a element, yet merely using a word to tutor how fortunate she have been given in saving funds. and that i'm confident she in all probability thinks this is extra you than the Gods. =) the place I paintings this is totally open... in the workplace besides. I paintings with a non secular Catholic and we communicate diverse non secular matters all of the time. often times they do get somewhat heated, yet neither people attempt to transform the different... nicely, he could desire to attempt, yet i think of he's conscious extra valuable. ;-) I somewhat have been on the receiving end of words like that from Christians... Even from people in right here!!! (Which made me ponder whether they examine my profile or any of my solutions in the previous sending me e mail lol) I settle for it as a compliment or them merely being well mannered and flow on. the only's that somewhat marvel me are the emails which state "Amen Sister!!!!" rofl!!!!! a minimum of no longer all of the emails i'm getting are "you are going to hell you damned heathen" =)
