I remember one time I was walking home after staying late to practice for a solo/ensemble competition with my band director in middle school. As I was walking, this guy in a toga comes up to me and says, "I am Jesus, man! You gotta come to me! I'm gonna save you!" While I was a little afraid, I just chalked it up to "some people's children" and tried to ignore him as I walked by. He was clearly drunk or high (or both).

I need to quit this job...the main reason is I severely don't like it, it's completely not right for me...the other reason is my school schedule has changed, and I possibly can get a job somewhere else (I don't care if I miss a paycheck). Anyway...I want out ASAP. But would the boss think I'm crazy? What do you think he would think? (I'm still in probation).

Last week I was in a terrible car crash with my Mum. I am 23 and passed my test 1 year ago but I have rarely driven since then. My Mum thought it would be a good idea to go out and get some experience, and the first few times were very successful, but when we were on a motorway I lost control of the car and we were both lucky to come out alive.
I feel like I've lost all my confidence again and find it hard to face getting back into a car.
Any advice?

I know we go on and on about this subject but if I could share something personal on what my 19 yr old step son taught me recently, as we are both christians and have had some heartfelt discussions on GOD, SIN and Homosexuality..

I asked him if he felt he was born to be a homosexual? he said no I was born to be a man to grow into a decent human being to serve GOD and I just happen to be attracted to my own sex which is just one small part of who I am
I asked:
Do you believe homosexual acts are sinful according to our faith?
He said Yes I do,(God only blesses man and woman in Holy Sacrament) but he said just like you: We wake up in the morning and do not intentionally plan to do things that are agaisnt GOD but we do..WHY? because you like me are sinners and your sins are no less or greater than mine, as we are both christians saved by GRACE not by works.

its because it heats food faster for example. heating a casserole, it takes 5 minutes on medium, 3 minutes on medium high and probably 1 minute for high. so is it safe to do it that way or will it brake it in the long term?

The non-profit I work for dropped its on-site TB testing program for employees. Now, despite already low wages, they want us to foot the bill for that too if we want to keep on working there. Does anybody know if free tb testing is offered anywhere else in the Phoenix area without having to sign on as a volunteer or employee? Hi everyone, I was given some wheeping trees,rose of sharons and some bushes they were very carefully dug up the roots were left in soil and they were replanted within in hour of them being dug up. I watered them very well after replanting and fertilized them, but over this last week and a half that i have had them the rose of sharons the leaves have gone from green to yellow to brown they still have some flowers but not like when i first got them, the one wheeping tree the leaves have turned completly brown the other one the leaves are turning yellow. Does anyone know why this is happening? And does anyone know what i can do to save them? Is there something that i did wrong or that i am not doing? Will they come back next year? I spoke to someone at a nursery and she told me to leave them that they probably have septic shock? Does anyone know anything about that? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
