I do prioritize in my life. I only prioritize my political principles, not politics itself.

I never used to care much for politics. Since Nixon I just figured the less I know, the better I'd feel. Then Bush came along, stole two elections, spent the surplus, ignored warnings about 9/11, embarked on a gratuitous and disastrous war, rolled back civil liberties, environmental laws, Constitutional protections...etc., etc. I guess I owe him a debt of gratitude. I'm very much interested in politics now. Number 2. Right behind exposing the Dominionists as anti-Christians.

Not to any great extent or detail, John...
We "prioritize" in the sense that we take care of business in a prompt and responsible manner before considering recreational activities.
And truthfully, in our relationship, politics is way, way down toward the bottom of the list when it comes to socializing with friends and relatives.
Two of our dearest friends (we just attended their wedding a couple weeks ago) are very well to do and probably Republicans...but you know what?.....when we get together, we don't waste time and effort discussing/arguing about politics.
Some things are just more important.

Family, Friends, Lifestyle, Career, Politics.
Although it is a short list the top 4 are all one needs to live a happy Heath life, so relatively speaking politics sit fairly low in my priorities.

Right up there with friends and family. We must pay attention and never let our guard down and become apathetic. That's how Hitler came into being. I will continue to be very watchful and participate in elections and whatever else I have to do to be aware, well informed, and stay alert.

Vote for someone who has the courage to go against their party when they are wrong. John S McCain III from Arizona lost my vote when he tried to call himself a Goldwater Republican, but his official record proves the opposite of what Barry M Goldwater did which was his official record proved he was a man of his word and beliefs and not just talk.
