Got this from an American friend.....

A cowboy from Texas gets pulled over by an Arizona DPS Trooper for
speeding.

The trooper started to lecture the cowboy about his speeding, and in
general began to throw his weight around to try to make the cowboy feel
uncomfortable.

Finally, the trooper got around to writing out the ticket. As he was
doing that, he kept swatting at some flies that were buzzing around his head.

The cowboy says, "Y'all havin' some problem with them circle flies?" The
trooper stopped writing the ticket and said, "Well yeah, if that's what
they're called. But I've never heard of circle flies."

"Well, sir," the cowboy replies, "circle flies hang around ranches.
They're called circle flies because they're almost always found circling around the back end of a horse."

The trooper says, "Oh," and goes back to writing the ticket. But, a
moment later he stops and asks, "Are you callin' me a horse's ***?" "No, sir,"the cowboy replies, "I have too much respect for law enforcement to call
y'all a horse's ***."

"That's a good thing," the trooper says and goes back to writing the
ticket.

After a long pause, the cowboy, in his best Texas drawl says, "Hard to
fool them flies though"

First of all thanks to the Christians/Atheists/Agnostics etc who have answered my questions

I was wondering what you all think of the following theory:

If you hold to the premise that Jesus, Moses, Abraham etc were real people (there is reasonable evidence for this) - could their visions/experiences of 'talking to god' could have been as a result of a condition like Temporal Lobe Epilepsy or Schizophrenia, both of which are characterised by the inducement of hallucinations (visual, auditory etc)

There are examples through history where symptoms of neurological/mental illness has been mistaken for possession etc

The lady who founded the seventh day adventists had classic signs of TLE for example.

Stimulation of the temporal lobes in a controlled setting results in induced hallucinations relevant to ones beliefs

Were these prophets suffering from mental illness/ hallucinations that manifested itself in forms relevant to their beliefs?

After 6 years he told me it was over, he stays with his co-worker/ room mate whom he claimed was lesbian and @ some point and time was living with her girlfriend. We recently had our hemlocks sprayed with Merit to try to control the wooly adelgid that have infested them. The guy said that the white stuff stays on the branches after the insects are dead, so how do I know if it worked? Also, any ideas for organic controls?

I am 15 years old, and need to know about a natural bowel cleansing idea.

I have a bad stomach/intestines. I have gastritis, inflammation of my colon, erosion, and 'white scarring,'and pain, and no prescribed medicine has treated any of these symptoms. I used to have to get an endo- and colonoscopy monthly to check up on my backed up bowels and etc. Since then, I haven't been able to use any laxative to help clean me out.

There is a gross tasting lemon-like formula available at a pharmacy or store, I think it's liquid magnesium, the doctor made me drink two bottles of it before the procedure, and it made stool liquid until it was gone...but I think I had to take a pill with it, and I don't know where to get the liquid, and if I have to be a certain age. Now I obv. can't get the pill because I don't see the doc. anymore.

Is there any liquid or pill that I can take available to 15 year olds to help cleanse my bowels in the span of 1 to 2 days w/ fasting? (Not a continual med.)

Larry Craig (R-ID) hypocritically **opposed** gay rights in Congress, and then proves himself to be gay by getting caught in a public rest room sting in Minneapolis... and pleading GUILTY!

There's *nothing* wrong with being gay -- which is simply a variation of normalcy -- but **everything** wrong with being an elected legislator who is a LYING HYPOCRITE, and in the process taking a stance and voting against personal liberties of millions of people -- for ansolutely NO good reason!

This is another stake in the coffin lid of the Party of Dishonesty and Sleaze, and of the loathsome RRR Cult ("Religious" Radical Right), and its agendas of mindless hate.

I absolutely LOVE to see stories like this, which help lead to the downfall of mindless bigotry and sleazy dishonesty. How about you?

It's a diamond the size of a coconut!! Twice the size of the Culinan which was previously the largest ever diamond and it weight in at 7000 carats!! How much do you think it will be worth and what do you think will happen with it? Personally i dont think it should be altered in any way, i think it should be a museum piece.
