(U.K. only please) I'm buying a house. The seller has had an electrical report done with these conclusion:
1) The main earth connection and the equipotential bonding fitted is too small.
2) No RCD protection is provided on the sockets circuits.
The lady in question has refused to knock the price of these repairs off the price of the house. My question is, is she by law required to fix these problems or are they relatively minor and she is not obliged to get them repaired?

Could it be that a male who could reproduce quickly while the female was still sleeping and this less able to reject his advances might have better reproductive chances? Or could it be that the rested body having had time to produce sperm was fitter for reproduction? Any other theories?

I am currently 33 weeks pregnant with my first, money has been really tight for my husband and I after I got laid off last year, as soon as I found out I was pregnant I began temping for a large university to pay the bills, for the past eight months it has been pretty lucrative, they just calle dme to ask if i wanted a year long position, but when i told them i was pregnant they said that they would probably have to place me somewhere after I had the baby because they need a temp that wont have any interruptions (Ex:6 weeks maternity leave) I am so frustrated!!! I have an interview today at the university for a fulltime position that i am extremely overqwualified for but I feel like it is just a waste of time because they are going to see the belly and not hire me. I know they cant discriminate but they can say that there were other reasons to not hire me. I am so stressed an d I feellike Im gonna cry I just want to go home and feel sorry for myself. I have some unemployment money left

I have ants. There is a stream of them both entering and exiting my house at a point where my siding meets some masonry. I'm afraid they might be nesting inside the house and want to determine if that is indeed the case. Any advice, help, methods of treatment that people can offer is appreciated.

I have an unweighted 3.73 GPA out of 4, and a weighted 3.82. I've only taken a couple honors classes throughout high school (Chemistry and Math 9) and no APs, but I'm going to be taking two APs my senior year (Economics and Psychology). I've taken the ACTs once so far and scored a 29 Composite with a 9 out of 12 on the writing, and I hope to bring that up to at least a 30 on my second go-around. I'm a pretty rounded student as I have been on missions trips to 3 different countries over the past 4 years, helping to build homes for poverty stricken people and help AIDS patients etc... I am very involved in my school's music program (4 years of marching band, drumline, pep band, jazz band, percussion ensemble etc...) and have had many acheivments in the area of music. I'm not sure about class ranking, since my high school doesn't rank. So would Richmond be considered more of a reach or a target?

It cleary states in the Story of creation after the Golden, Silver and Bronze men were killed off by the Gods, Prometheus stole the secret of fire and gave it to humans.
Yet Science trys to claim it is the result of an Exothermic reaction not a gift from the Gods?
Do our Science classes need to give this more thought?

It happened in the heat of battle, as well it happened at 4:30 in the morning.
I worked in a bar and had to stop a fight.
All anyone wanted was for the fighting to stop, (so that we could all go home). I was extremely tired and dead on my feet, and the last thing I needed was some fight starting.
So, I Rabbit Punched him, and it was easy (and a little bit fun too.)
Now, I have to live with him coming in all the time and calling me names like "dipshit" and saying "Only one per customer", or, "wait till I get you alone", or "wait till 5:00", ....it is so tiresome.
I even told him if he wasn't careful I'd "do it again". So now he comes in everyday and says I'm gonna get it.
And the funniest thing is : get this.... since then, one of his eyes is more open than the other, now, since that fight. He is in a band poster and looks like that, on there, too.
(Did I really do that? I don't think so, because I only hit the back of his head, not the front.)
