I work in a retail pharmacy where until recently, we were allowed to keep our purses in a side room, where we could see anyone entering or exiting(and it was only pharmacy workers). Now we have to use a locker in the breakroom which employees and customers have access to, so we will be using combination locks.
There are holes in the locker so you are able to look inside and pretty much see what's in there. Am I required to give management the combination to my locker? Does mgmt have the right to search my locker? How much privacy can I expect with this situation? They say the combo is just in case I forget it, but it is in the computer where basically any supervisor can access it(only the mgr is supposed to have access).
The only reason I'm upset about this is because it's a pain to have to leave the pharmacy for my purse now, instead of it being in our own locker room, where I could see anyone going near it.

My daughter went on vacation with her husband this summer and was staying at resort and saw him there. She told her husband and they got to meet him, talk, have drinks and got invited to play golf. Of course they didn't. She has a picture hanging on her living room wall standing next to him with his arm around her. How scary!!

Is it possible for two people to alternate every other day in saying that they know that the next day is "the day" ?

I know this sounds goofy, but when I was young, I figured that the way I could avoid the 2nd coming of Christ was to say the the day I was in was the day I thought he was coming.
I would say this to "postpone" the Apocalypse. I was only 5 or six at the time but as an adult now, I wonder if this theory is correct. Being such a small and naive child at the time had me thinking of a way to avoid having so many people perish.

I have yet to meet a pastor/preacher who could answer this.

I am getting married next August. I have already asked 3 of my bridesmaids. The 2 are soo excited, but the third one said, "I dont know.. I'll try." Shes upset she is not the maid of honor, She said she expected it since we have been friends for 11 years. I dont think years= value of friendship. I am also having a adult recpetion and she is upset she cannot bring her two kids. She said she cant find a babysitter and she doesnt know if she can get off work that day.

I know life must be different with two kids and all, but it doesnt even seem like shes excited. My fiancee is telling me to kick her out, but I dont want to be too mean about it. She already said she probably wont make it to the bridal shower/bachorette party. I'm upset cause i am afraid this will ruin our friendship. Please, I could use some unbiased opionons here. My weddings not for a year, is it too early to ask for a yes or no?

Guiliani just proposed even more tax cuts at a time when we are fighting a war, and we are already piling up record deficits that our kids (including those fighting this stupid war) will have to pay for. The worst part is - most of the tax cuts are for the ones who don't need it. And they know that tax cuts dont usually work. Even Reagan realized he had to raise taxes in his second term. Bush Sr. realized he had to raise taxes. Now Bush Jr. is claiming a great economy because of his tax cuts. Yet, we are doing worse than most of the rest of the world. Our dollar keeps shrinking against other countries. Incomes for the poor and middle class have gone down. And the stock market has had its worst growth performance in U.S. history.

My friend's spouse had him arrested and thrown in jail for allegidly sexually assaulting his 17 yr old stepdaughter, (the wife wanted all the money from a modest inheritance, and he wanted to pay bills first.) Of course, he used the rest of his inheritance to pay a hefty fee to a highly recommended lawyer. He was realeased from jail fairly quickly as the woman couldn't keep her story straight, and there was no proof at all, so he was charged w/ plain old assault and released. They have since divorced, and even tho the state had to persue the case, it looks like they are finally going to drop all charges because there's no evidence of a crime on his part. She's actually looking very perjurous.

So, can he counter sue to try to recover part of the $8,000 spent on lawyers? Would he have to do it in civil court? What would he claim; slander and libel? Since he's got no more $$$, how much would this cost, and how does it work?
What sort of lawyer would he need?

Ever since i was born i live with my parent & my mum parents, the millionaire

My mum become almost crazy when her parents both past away & my dad crazy about another woman

I have try to help my mum recover

& bring back mydad to our family

even have help my sister so much from school work to life issue

all i ask from them is their love & time now

I have been working for 10 years & pay my own university fees

Compare to my friends & cousin i am the most success & friendly one

Why my parent still see me like a ghost & never proud of me

I have bring them travel as much as can

They dont even say thank you

I am only 25 and they want more from me

Sometime i feel like killing myself
