I have to put the emergency brake on when it is not started because it will not go in park.It goes in all the other gears pefectly and also it does drive fine.

For my nutrition class, I need to look for authentic Indian (from India, not Native American) recipes that are affordable and nutritious. I found a recipe for Dry Fruit Kheer and one of the ingredients is saffron. I know saffron is expensive. I was wondering if there's anything I can substitute it with.


This is the recipe:

Ingredients:
1 litre milk
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. cardamom powder
15 strands saffron crushed, soaked in 1 tsp. hot milk
10-12 raisins
10-12 currants
10-12 almonds slivered
10-12 pistachios, slivered
5-6 dried peaches, quartered
5-6 dried apricots, nut removed, broken to bits

Method:


Soak raisins,currant, peaches, apricots, in hot water for 10 minutes.
Boil milk, with cardamom, saffron and sugar for 10 minutes.
Drain soaked dryfruit, add to boiling milk, stir gently.
Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
Add almonds, pistachios, take off fire.
Serve hot.
Making time: 30 minutes
Makes: 5 servings

I have a square room that is empty it measures 10 x 10. The height of the room is 10ft. I have an A/C unit that will cool 50 cubic feet in 8 minutes. How long will it take to cool all the air in the room. I am asking this because I suck at mathematics.

A 14 year old girl stayed the night at my house who said her parents had her get baptized Mormon once, then they had her get baptized regular Christian once, then they took her to a different Mormon church and had her baptized Mormon again, and then to another regular Christian church and had her baptized regular Christian again. Then they turned non-religous on her. She said they confuessed her. She don't want to be Mormon but I think it's her parents fault for confuessing her and Switching all the time on her. She wouldn't be considered an apostate, right?

soo i just spent 5 HOURRRS in the POURING rain at us cellular field for a game against the red sox. it was horrible, ONLY to find out at 10:00 that the game is canceled! i understand they didnt want it to get rained out, BUT C'MON A 5 HOUR RAIN DELAY?! that should not happen... ever! the rain delay system should definitly be changed, they shouldn't be able to leave people hanging like that! or maybe they should get retractable domes on parks nowadays... im sure with the 100 dollar tickets they sell, they can afford to put one in. any one else at the "game" tonight? any thoughts on my ideas? i needed to VENT. phew... done :)

I cannot eat beef because we Hindus respect the cows because she provides us milk from childhood much like milk from our moms. That is why I cannot eat beef. Now does buffalo qualify as beef or cow family?

I've spoke with someone who has said that they have 2 housetrained bobcats that use the litter box, but they are also a breeder, so I'm wondering what they aren't telling me.

Has anyone here that could answer successfully housetrained a bobcat? I'm considering purchasing a male. I would never consider a larger cat than this.

Is it also possible that a bobcat can be raised on cat food instead of meat? I assume cat food consists of a healthy blend of minerals and vitamens etc, but don't know if they are able to accept this form of diet.

when people have illigal files on their computer that could get them aressted, whay do people always tell them to destroy the computer? couldent they just destroy the hard drive and then replace it with a new hard drive? Hello, I'm 16 and I just started working at a fast food restaurant, and I absolutely dislike it. I have worked four shifts, and have another one tomorrow, and two days after. My aunt got me the job, so it's not like I earned my position. I am a garnisher, which is serving customers with what they would like on their food. Supposedly in a month or so, I should be trained for cashier and grill. I do NOT want to do this. When I have a workshift, I complain that I don't want to go so many times that sometimes I'm convinced I'm not going! My parents both told me to give it a try, and my aunt told me that if at any time it's not for me, then to tell her. I don't think I have what it takes to tell her, because my aunt and my manager think I'm doing such a good job, but I actually hate it. I wanted to use this job as a reference for work experience as it was my first job, but will they give me a bad rep? I was thinking of having my mom explain it to my aunt.. what do you think I should say/do?

ok i like this guy his name is jesse and at the end of last year (freashmen year) i told him i liked him in a note but he didnt say anything to be but of course i gave it to him like the 2ed to last half day of school.. and i dont know if i should tell him i still like him.. i really want to .. we are really good friends and this whole summer i couldnt stop think about him.. i want to kinda ask him out to go to the movies or something!! I just sold my business and the new tenant took over. I was never in default of rent. The new tenant just signed a lease and their first payment is right after my last payment. No break in between. The landlord released me from my lease which had two years to go. But still holds security deposit.

Doesn't it seem that the news only acknowledges how many Americans die in the Iraq War? They ignore the Iraqis, who are dying at a far greater rate as a result of this war. The number of American casualties is well-known to be about 3700 or so, which is more people than the amount of people killed by Osama bin Laden on 9/11 (the official number for 9/11 is 2974).

However, estimates of the number of dead Iraqis range well over 700,000. Why isn't this ever reported by the media?

For example, on Thursday the 27th of August this year, there were 2 Americans killed, but also at least 72 Iraqis (see http://www.antiwar.com/updates/?articleid=11494 ).

Could the media not be reporting the Iraqi casualty numbers because they don't want to expose just how awful the War in Iraq is so that the war can continue longer? Isn't the number of dead Iraqis just as newsworthy as the number of dead Americans? If that is the case, why isn't it being widely reported?
