Buy from a company with a good reputation that offers good support. No deal is a good deal if you have a problem and have nowhere to go for help.
I have 3 going here - a Samsung, Dell, and a BenQ. So far, all are serving me well. Watch the ads - especially on Sundays and around holidays. I paid $350 for the Samsung a couple of years ago; picked up the Dell for less than $200, and the BenQ was also under $200. All are LCDs.

samsung LCD monitor is the best. In to days market samsung monitors are key features.
Good servicing. picture quality is good, less weight, easily transformable. weight only 2kg.
In India it's 7, 500 rupees only. convert in to us dollars.
1 dollar = 45 rupees only.

Just look for a renowned computer name .
e.g. :- Samsung , Hewlett-Packard , BenQ .
You don' t need a big screen , they' re too hard on the eyes .
Look for a flat screen monitor . It' ll take up less space .
You' ll need at least $200.

I'm no expert, but I'll go with a TFT version everytime. If you're referring to a particular maker, I'll leave that question open.
