I have a job that is . . . decent. I've been there for 7 1/2 years. Recently, I decided to change to a totally different field, one that will be far more lucrative, far more fun, and far more fulfilling. However, I cannot switch for some time. Just knowing that the other job is waiting is making me REALLY dislike my previously tolerable job, at which I do a good job and people like me. I may be becoming a bit of a jerk at my current job -- I don't think so, but I feel "jerky" every so often. Should I find a "transition" job between the two, or just learn patience and suck it up? BUT I need insurance, and the transition job may not offer that (but the other two have great benefits). Any real help would be appreciated. Thanks all!

Thanks so much for your explanations about the dreaded purple fringe. Some of that I knew and much of it I did not.

My original question asked whether fringe came from the sensor, the lens, or both. I do believe that it comes from both, but I now believe that the lens is the more significant contributor. Once you see my sample, you will understand why I say this. If fringe was merely caused by the sensor, you would not see the pattern that I observed. Whether a "good" lens will give less fringe or not remains to be investigated.

Interestingly, I was not expecting to ever use this image for anything but a geometric study. I used to weld and do some minor steel construction and I really appreciate the precision of this structure. You have to realize that you are looking at something about 30 feet wide.

I know this is not a question, but I feel that after an over whelming reply to my question, and over whelming P.M.'s, that I need to clear some things up...
First of all yes, the question was serious, second, I was in NO way "picking" on black people, or intending to come across rasicst.
I stated that the only response that i had ever gotten from this question was, about the "ape thing" The person who explained this ridiculos conclusion to me was a black man who was a decon at one of my friends churchs.
To " Icey Gazpacho" you stated I was just an "idiot white girl" who was married to a man who has a really good suntan-To answer your comment, yes I am white, and no, you are wrong, my husband is not a white man, he is from Ecuador, and is almost black....so no you are wrong, I am not a racist, and I am sorry you are n atheist, but I never said I was a christian, I was only curoius about this, because I wanted an answer(like every body else around here) and was mislead.

I have had him or her for 10 years in the same small fish bowl that i bought it in. I have read anwers about bladder diease, should i put him in a small bowl and leave him for how long? and should i still feed him. will miss him if he goes as he has been with me forever. how long do they live. he is just an orange will used to be orange gold fish. hope someone can help. appreciate any advice. this isnt the first case of this it has had, he got it about 2 years ago but got over it, im not too sure this time, i have put some tonic salt into his bowl?

I have seen non-believers on here state they doubt he even existed. Aside from the Bible there are other mentions of him in historical records. Among these are the Jewish historian Josephus, the Roman historian Tacitus, Pliny the younger, the babylonian talmud, and Lucian of samosata. Even if you do not believe he was anything but a man isn't it kind of silly to deny he existed?

Right now, I have one female betta and I'm trying to find the right aquarium for her. I need something on the smaller side (no more than 6 gallons) and I'd prefer to buy an aquarium kit since I'm not very knowlegable yet.

I've looked at the Eclipse System 3 and also System 6 and I like both, but neither include a heater. I realize I could just buy one seperatly, but is it possible to put it in since they already include the hood, specifically for that tank?

Also, is the flow rate for each tank suitable for bettas (3 gallon=35 GPH and 6 gallon=75 GPH)? I know they don't like a lot of water movement. Eventually I think I will add a few more fish (depending on which size I get) but right now my concern is that it is good for my betta.

If you have any other suggestions I would love to hear them =)

OK my BESTEST friend from high school, who LOVED me since we were freshmen and we finally hooked up our senior year and were engaged until our lives took us in seperate directions, came out about 6 yrs ago. Ok we were still super close and I would go and visit him a lot. The only difference in our relationship was no sex. For obvious reasons. Ok so all of the sudden he stopped calling me and we only talk these days via myspace and call sometimes. I only get to see him about once a year. I feel like he is avoiding me. I don't get it!!!! Help me Please!!! I have been off the pill for 3-4 months and have two normal periods. This time round I am nearly 4 weeks late is this normal? I took a pregnancy test when I was 13 days late (now 25 days late) and it was negative. Could I still be pregnant? people make it sound like people who have a 2.8 or 2.9 gpa wont get into college or will have to go to comunity college. A 2.8 or 2.9 isn't bad. Right? i mean it is a B or B-. i mean if you are really involved in good extra curricular activities wont you get accepted and if you get a pretty good test score on the ACTs.
