I am at a cross roads. I can see from logic that Catholic Communion would be the right way (Transubstantiation) and I can see from history that Jesus and his followers started the fist church.

This is most probobly the existing Catholic Church.

However I have a problem with the whole rejection of grace alone. Its clear in the bible that salvation is a gift apart from works "so no man can boast" Now to take that as it is meant is that you can do nothing to earn it, its a gift from God.

that makes me question the whole purgatory things.

I dont need responses about where is this and that in the bible.

If you ask that question it just proves how ignorant of scripture you are. I can prove both viewpoints using the bible.

The only question is around history and how that supports such a view.

So if neither are absolutly right is the truth found in the middle.

I noticed last night one of my son's bottle smells AWFUL! I washed it twice and let it soak before a third washing, but the smell is still there. I think I heard once before of someone using a bleach/water mix to get rid of odors, but I can't find anything to support that. Can I do that or is there some other way of getting odors out? Any help is appreciated.

There was a father who was very proud of his three daughters. Every night he took a stroll around the house to make sure everything was all right. One night when he was doing his stroll, he could hear laughter coming from his youngest daughter's room. He stood there for a while and thought about this, but reached the conclusion that he could always ask her tomorrow, instead of bothering her at this time of the night. When he reached the window of his second daughter, he could hear her crying. He thought about this too, but ultimately he decided to ask her tomorrow and continued. There were no sounds at all coming from his oldest daughter's room, and he then went to bed, satisfied. The next day, when they all were gathered around the breakfast table, he said to his youngest daughter "I heard you laughing last night, as I walked past your window. Why was that?"
She answered "That's because you taught me to laugh when someone was making me happy..."
He then asked his second daughter "I heard you crying last night, why was that?"
She answered "That's because you taught me to cry when someone was making me hurt..."
He then told his oldest daughter "I didn't hear anything from you..."
She said "That's because you taught me not to talk with my mouth full..."

I'm currently a SAHM (going back to grad school in February). For the past few weeks I've been feeling pretty low and can't pinpoint the reason(s). By the time my husband comes home from work, I am dying to get out of the house. Sometimes I find myself at the supermarket or video store at 10pm just to get a change of scenery. I love my kids immensely, but I miss having time for myself (and spending time with my husband). How can I tackle this?

I am admittedly no scholar in mathmatics & economics but know the basics. My stupid question is on clarifying what inflation means when you read in an article that a country's inflation rate is up 7000%? That means that if you made a dollar last January & could buy a 12oz can of Soda for that dollar & a year later in January inflation was up 7000% that means that same 12oz can of soda would cost 7000 times more or about 7000 dollars right or is it the opposite. That orginal dollar 12 months ago is larger by 7000x what it is now?. LOL I know I'm dumb lol.

I have some fresh cherry tomatos from the garden that I want to "spice up" a bit without really adding too much flavor. I want to enhance the tomatos, not cover them up. I was thinking of slicing them in half and adding olive oil, salt, pepper, and dried basil and/or dried oregano (I dont have fresh). Would this work? Any suggestions of other things to add or not to add? Thanks!

I am thinking about taking my boyfriend on a road trip up the coast. We live in San Diego so I want to head north for a few days. Some places I had in mind where San Fran, Catalina Island, San Simeon, San Luis Obispo. Anyone have any ideas? I constantly follow news whether it be print, television, or radio, and I always wonder when I will hear of any real progress being made in our legislature over isuues that matter to me. It is rare that you ever hear about congress solving any real problem that is vital to our nation. It seems like our government is bogged down trying to serve the special interest groups. I am just an ordinary American trying to do my own thing and earn a living. I dont care about who fixes problems in society be them democrats or republicans, I just want progress. I don't want the issue of gay marriage or global warming to halt progress on congress fixing the economy or dealing with the situation in Iraq. I just think as a nation we have to get our priorities straight. I do not have a problem addressing gay rights or global warming just dont campaign on them. Make plans to solve the problems of today. Quit catering to every liberal interest and get something done.

So I just read this, and, as a guy it's sickening. The gist of it is that while she likes a gentleman some of the time, sometime it annoys her because she feels it's ultimately just a means to achieve the same end, to get in the pants.

I said that we are all in it to procreate, ultimately, that that is the true nature of our sex drive. Further, in terms of love and companionship, that THAT is why I choose to treat a woman I am with with respect at all times.

So, is this confusing to anyone else, to hear, "I want a good guy, a guy who respects me, but not all the time because his efforts to get in my pants become so transparent that it unsettles me"?

What the hell? If we're supposed to treat you women with respect and disrespect alternately, would you mind telling us when you're in the mood for each so I don't bore you with cheaply veneered, blatent attempts to concquor you?
