I downloaded an animated gif from photoshop.

How can I edit animated gifs in photoshop?

All I get is the first frame, where are the other frames?

Editing a animated gif is not possible. The only way possible is if you had the .PSD file which was used to animate and create the animation. So the only thing you'd get in photoshop when you insert a .gif is the first frame. Sorry

Photoshop can only edit individual frames, not an animation as a whole. You need an animation program to split the frames, then edit them individually and combine them again when done.
