Will the NAACP support Imus, and claim he deserves a second chance too? Or is calling thugie looking blacks, nappy headed ****** worse then executing dogs, gambling, and violating federal law?

What a bunch!!! They just highlight even more their obsolesence by supporting this guy. So what? He is black, but what he did was cruel and uncalled for. They better keep their damn mouths shut when Imus comes back. I was pissed off when they jumped on the band wagon to get Imus canned. He said what the black community describes women all the time yet he was castigated and run out on a rail but Vick should get a second chance. He will get a second chance, people have a tendency to forgive but it won't be for some time and it will not be a cakewalk "2nd chance" he should get. Imus spoke, Vick allegedly killed ( I only said allegedly since the plea deal is not final until he has stood in front of a judge and pleaded guilty) , they are totally different and should be treated as such. No one died or commited suicide as a result of Imus's mouth. This guy allegedly slaughtered helpless animals

poster #4.... Imus did not break the law. Vick did. The NAACP should represent fairness, not just stick up for Blacks even when they are clearly wrong. Imus was a true jerk for saying what he did, but it was not meant in a racist way. There were just as many Blacks on the other team, yet he commented that they were attractive. Just like Shaq joking about Yao Ming. That was just as bad as Imus, but Shaq did not break the law like Vick did.

So, what should happen to Vick? A lifetime ban is awfully harsh, but what Vick did was sick. I believe in second chances. I think Vick should be banned for 5 years and be forced to volunteer 2 years with the SPCA. He'd be 32 and still be able to play for another 5 years if he kept in shape.

No one ever said Imus should never come back to the air. Imus said something stupid, he got smacked for it. From what I hear, his settlement with CBS isn't much of a downgrade.

Mike Vick is in the process of getting smacked for what he did. He's gonna lose millions and do jail time. Kind of apples and oranges, if you ask me.

Why can't the NAACP support Vick, in your opinion? Did he turn white?

Now- that is interesting NAACP advocates employing people convicted of Federal crimes but wants people that say something they deem offensive (only when uttered by old white men obviously) to lose their job.

I wonder if they have a single clue what hypocrisy that shows.
What exactly are they advancing? gangsta behavior, criminal behavior- dog fighting

I think the Atlanta Falcons pay Vick's salary and can make those decisions without the inteference of such racist idiots as the NAACP.

I needed a laugh today and this delivered - thanks

That is complete crap...Vick should never play another down of football and should have to donate all of his earnings from the past several years to the SPCA...f*ck that loser...it is not a black/white thing. I would be saying the same if it was a white guy.
