This is a medical question and debate which some of my coworkers and I are debating. We recently found out that one of my friends was trying to have a baby for a few years and was unsuccesful. She recently found out that she was not ovulating. Which kind of confused us. the question is it possible to have a Monthly period eventhought you are not ovulating? And if you are not ovulating then why have a period. If the point of having a period is too relase the unfertilize egg right? If any one else has better information regarding this topic can you please let me know.

My neighbor recently took in a puppy that appears to be around 3-5 months old and I'm considering adopting her. She appears to have been a stray and it's not known if she has had any of her shots. Is it dangerous to give them to her twice (in case she has had them)? Is it too late to give her all of the recommended shots (is she too old)?

Soon after we got married, my husband began losing interest in sex and intimacy, to the point where he got used to just holding hands and quick kisses. Now 2 years later, I feel I live with a roommate, sharing bills and household chores. He has no interest in being intimate and I feel like he's not attracted to me anymore. I know I haven't changed -- I still brush my teeth, gone back to the weight pre-pregnancy, which is slim...For the many times I felt rejected, just a touch and him pushing me away, I stopped trying, and feel that we have lost the spark. He needs to be reminded of how I feel, goes fine for a week, then he retreats to himself. He's nice all other ways, helping in the house, rubbing my feet, but that's it. I don't understand it. Any ideas? We started seeing a counselor but I'm angry at this point that he can't provide the basic needs of even a boyfriend. I'm thinking we're heading towards a divorce.

I have developed a new machine to wash cats. Its like a huge golfball washer. You force,I mean you place the cat in the cylinder,add soap, put the tool/cover on and you plunge the tool up and down until the cat is well scrubbed. Carefully open the cover(slowly) and there you will find a well washed cat that has enjoyed itself, who doesn't like to get cleaned up. I have done dozens of test on my neighbors cat and I can tell you that little guy was so excited to get in he was swirming in my arms, you could tell he was in a hurry to get in.

I'm considering getting a new LCD monitor for photographic use. I currently have a Samsung 931B and Acer x171 (running dual monitors on Gigabyte video card -- 256mb-- and Acer is just for dragging pallettes out of way in Photoshop.) I'm considering a 22" widescreen to go down to a single monitor, but am on a fairly tight budget. I could prolly go up to 'round $350, so I know that's really limiting me.

It doesn't need to be fancy, I just need something that is sharp, true colors, and good contrast w/o being *too* contrasty.

I'm 18
and ive always wanted to just get out of my little town and discover other countries
i'm really interested in goin to america for an extended holiday
for about the minimum of 1 month
maybe stay on longer if i like it.
Even though i know its going to cost alot of money
i wanted advice on the cheaper options available
To be honest i dont really want it to be a holiday
i just want to experience the lifestyle.
If i do stay for only a month im guessing it wud be easier and cheaper to find somewhere to stay.
but if i decide to stay for slightly longer what are my options?

I would love to go somewhere like LA but from reading some things on here it doesnt really seem like the right place for me to go on my own. is there anywhere quieter than LA but still have the qualities.
I dont want to go somewhere that isnt going to give me the expericance i want.
How can i get started with my plans?
How much do you think i'll need in total in £'s.

The mouse track pad of my laptop is not at all working. Is it possible to replace the mouse track pad without effecting the rest of the laptop? If this replacement of the mouse trackpad effect any parts of the laptop, please list them (For example keyboard,.. etc..). Approximate cost for this replacement in Indian Rupees.

If it was proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that there was no God and no Jesus, 100 % proven, would you want to know the truth or would you prefer to continue on believingand not know the truth? And also, I'd like to know why.

As an avid reader, i've read the ultimate classic novels. I've now set my sights on short stories. I've read some "classics" like The Yellow Wallpaper, A Good Man is Hard to Find, The Lottery, and A Rose for Emily- but I'm looking for more.. Any short stories or authors that I should pay attention to? I really like southern gothic if that helps any! Thanks so much in advance.

P.S. My english professor was obsessed with Ernest Hemingway and William Faulkner so exclude those authors please!

I have been feeling horrible the last week. I have light cramping every once in a while, headaches, im nausceous every morning. I have been getting dizzy and light headed, my lower stomach is bloated and hard. I have taken 2 tests and both are negative. I got my period this month and last month but neither was normal. Last month it was lighter then usual but still there and lasted 5 days. Thsi month it seemed normal and lasted 6 days. I want a baby more than anything could i really be pregnant? Has anyone gone through this?
