I have a large family, and I've found that in the past they have generally sent holiday gifts for my children that weren't age appropriate. For example, last year my girls were 2 and they recieved many play sets with tiny pieces and a ton of clothes sized 4T. I'm thinking of sending out notes this year with general information such as their sizes, interests, and characters they like as sort of a guide. I know I would personally appreciate it if others did this to help me buy gifts for their children, but I'm worried that they may not see it this way. Its not that I don't appreciate what they do for my kids, I just would hate for everyone to spend their time and money buying something that can't even be used for another year or two again. I thought about sending letters asking for this information first, but the people that buy these gifts don't have children so that won't really work. Does anyone have any opinions or better ideas?

-that girls would be called girls not brods, chicks, or anything else
-that girls' bodies wouldn't be used for advertising purposes
- that pornography was illegal
-that prostitution would be illegal everywhere in the world
-that strip clubs didn't exist
-that guys would fight for girls so that they would be respected for being girls rather than prizes or objects.
-that guys would give women and girls the freedom to be themselves

The death penalty may not be a deterrent, however what good does it do to keep this guy locked up for life while living on the tax payers dime? Has anyone seen what it cost per year to house a prisoner?

my new love interest is a Christian. i have no religion, but believe in god.
anyway, he was explaining that christians have a gift to speak in tongue but may only do so with other christians. can anyone explain this??
also. he says, when he came christian, he started to see demons and bad things, but god helped him through it by giving him strength, courage etc..

i am confused. anyone got an explanation??

We have a very rough looking tile floor in our bathroom, it's cracked in several places. We'd like to lay laminate tiles over the tile. 1) is this possible (we're not worried about taking it up to get to the tile) 2) how should we best prepare the ceramic tile to lay the laminate?

Why is it so hard for others to accept the fact that YES...hetero people actually do choose their own life paths?

I need a manicure so bad! My nails are so messed up! All I really need is the 'repair'. Like my cuticals hurt so bad they burn & sting, and my nails are chipping and breaking below the nail line. How much would a mani. to cure that cost? I don't need any special nail polish. Also I need my eyebrows waxed. What is the average price of that? They arent very bad, I just need to wax them to clean them up. Thanks =]
