If I refuse to hate myself because I'm white does that make me a racist?

I don't need to repent.
I never knew that self loathing was expected of me because I'm white until I moved to the Bay Area.
Those of us who don't buy into it are looked down upon as being 'racist' because we don't side with other whites who hate themselves along with America for being white and American.
We are even discriminated against for speaking English only and not knowing any Spanish.
Personally I think everybody is equal and no one should be made to feel inferior because of the color of their skin or what language they speak.
I also believe that since this is America we as Americans shouldn't be expected to speak the language of a foreign Country in order to obtain employment or be accepted by society.
This is absolutely ridiculous and I don't know why so many people around here buy into that and chose to hate themselves along with America just to appease others whose opinion of them won't be changed no matter what they think or believe.

I also don't think it's a sin to refuse to hate myself just because other's hate me.
What if Jesus had that kind of attitude and decided to hate Himself because of the people who wanted him crucified?
Jesus would never do that and he wouldn't want that for us either.
I don't want my son learning that from living around here either but unfortunately he will as soon as he begins going to public School which is only a couple of weeks from now.

Your right we should stop the hatred and show love instead.
But that doesn't mean we should tolerate being abused or having to hate ourselves just to fit in.
I would never in a million years travel to another Country and hate the people who live there or worse yet,move to another Country and hate the people who live there and at the same time expect them to hate themselves because of it.
It just doesn't make any sense.

Robert P your right people who come here should come here because they want to live here and not because they want to bring their Country with them or remain here while wanting to be in their own Country.
We need to be United with one another and consider ourselves Americans regardless of where we came from.
I'm only 2nd generation American and would never desire to live anywhere else in the world.
But with people being allowed to come here without wanting to be here or expecting America to become the Country they just came from is wrong.
It only divides us and causes problems within our culture which we have a right to preserve.
As a Christian I feel it is important to care about my Country that the good Lord has provided us with and blessed us with and not turn my back on it.
But unfortunately some Christians feel that just because they're Christian they don't need to concern themselves with this world anymore.
But I think it's because we're Christian that we should care even more.

Anyone who tells you that you should hate yourself because of your skin color is a stupid idiot.

If I was to do that and still follow Jesus's wish of "love your neighbor as yourself" there would be a lot of problems in this world. By virtue of the two and combining them - that would mean that everyone would hate everyone - wow - the results would be what?? constant death?

No - I just cant see it.

Tell anyone who is calling you a racist for this reason that they can kiss my grits - they have no idea what racist means and they need to get an education before they show the entire world just how stupid they really are.

Nice question and I sure undersatnad your concern. This is america and the English language should be our main language here. If others come here, they should learn the language as the immigrants did a long time ago, It makes it easier for them too and for their children. I have no racism in me, I never did. But it is frustratating to go to a movei, out to dinner, to the store, whatever, and find you have noone to talk to becusae most are foreign. I live in a big city also, and its sad. Most sales calls are from foreigns and they dont understand enough to even say NO thanks to them, and they keep going and going. God calls us to love everyone, even ourself. I dont resent anyone new coming to america, but I dont like it when they try to make it another country by refusing to take part in any of our countires ideas and wont even learn the language. Most , but not all, do act like they hate you and resent you. WHY/ THey came here and yes I believe they should be welcomed. By why hate us. There are many in our country that are racisits and i know they treat them bad and thats wrong too, but its just as wrong for tem to come here with hatred . God wants us to all get along and treat each other with respect. ALL OF US. If they only coe here to hate us, then they should not come. We live where there is a serious immigration issue from mexico and we see so much hatred on both sides of the fence. I guess the devil is alive and welll and doing a great job and causing hatred and division. I say are we part of the problem, or part of the solution. If we hate, we are part of the problem. If we love, we are part of the solution. someone has to start speaking love and teaching Gods truths that we are all cteated equil. This is going to tear apart our country, if ppl will not listen and hear .. I refuse to hate them because they hate me, and yes, I love myself and my country, but I will not stand and be abused by them for hating americans. I still wont hate and I wont be vengful, but I will speak truth as it need be and ask them if they are part of the problem themselves. IF they dont want hate, they must not hate. Its a high calling for all of us. But I do undersant and I know the frustration of living with this issue. Its a huge problem across the america. WE traveled to a small town about three years ago and I mean small, in NOrthern Calif. Couldnt find hardly anyone to speak english and most acted as tho they hated us. This is america. What has happened. I would never go to another country and act liek that. Oh God please show them how to love like you do.
LEts keep praying and keep looking up. Its really all we can do , except we can refuse to hate ourselves.

The PC crowd tells us to accept how great they say the economy is.They tell us to accept illegals to come over border.That each job they take and college degree they get is only those US citizens don't want.Every person that is allowed to stay should want to be here and not their "home" country.
