Sounds healthy to me,actually I would use basil, parsley, garlic, maybe some cilantro, it would taste even better.

Sounds pretty good! Potatoes are starch but usually when you eat one most of the fat and bad stuff is what you put on them, not the potato itself. Made the way you do, they are very healthy! (Unless you're diabetic like me and then you have to be careful.)

But why not add some other veggies too, like broccoli, carrots, etc? We roast veggies here all the time and they're pretty good.

Also we spray olive oil on them, and sprinkle some seasonings on them. We put them in a glass 'roasting dish' lined with foil (makes it easier to clean the dish).

It doesn't sound too bad.

You can make a snack that is high in Vitamin A and beta-carotene and low in calories by:

Preheating the oven to 450F.

Very thinly slice a sweet potato.

Toss it in a non-stick pan and spread the sliced around.

Bake for fifteen minutes.

WoW, I've never been here before! I will have to stop in more often now that I know there is a healthy site. My husband has to be on a heart healthy diet, so this is something new for us to try. Thanks!

I'll be back.

Butter and oil is a bit extreme. Just use the oil spray. Potatos are carbohydrates, so make sure your eating raw veges snacks as well - like carrot, celery or fresh peas.
Peas are also carbohydrates, and celery is a better snack for weightloss.

Well it certainly sounds very healthy and low fat. I would use olive oil or grape seed oil as they would have more flavor. Also, grape seed oil has a very high burning point so it would still be very healthy to cook with.

No, just because Potatoes have lot of carbs and starch!

It's better than cooking them in oil and using regular butter, but remember to avoid starchy food. The healthy foods to eat with carbs are wholegrain stuff like wholegrain breads, because they are high in protein and fiber!

Nice! Try splashing some worchestershire sauce on them (very lightly) and dash some McCormick Steakhouse Seasoning... You'll "best answer" me later!

It's not like deep-fried butter on a stick, but there are a lot of carbs.

Great if you work out. Watch carbs if you are sedentary.
