My wife and I are starting a company in California. Most likely only my wife and I will be the only people that will work for the company so we don't plan to pay employees in the near future, however if we expanded in a few years, we definitely could. From a tax / profit standpoint, which should we choose? I know that LLCs are easier in a number of ways but which will save us money? I do know that LLCs have $800 minimum to pay per year to operate in the state.

I have heard people say one or the other but not really cite the true facts, %, and numbers that would be paid for each.

I just started school last week and I have nothing to do during the second half of studyhall. My schedule is set up so I go to studyhall then to lunch and then back to studyhall. well the portion of studyhall i have after lunch i have nothing to do because i can finish my work during the first half. does anyone know anything good i could read to fill up time...i mean yea staring across the room at myy boyfriend is a great way to occupy myself but i cant do that all year.

So IMy brother has had this iguana for 4 years and he went to college so we're giving it away to a local pet place (the pet guy from News12) he wants us to put it in a pillow case n then in a box....

here's the problem, he has a HUGE temper and is pretty vicious.....Whats the best way to pick him up and get him in that pillow case??

I am just curious to know how many African Americans out there still have this whole preconceived notion that lighter skin is better? I never really thought about this or allowed it to bother me until one of my lighter complexioned African American friend came to college, and she said to me that she would never have a child with a darker skinned black man bc she wants her children to be fair. This was like a slap in the face to me, bc I can't understand how someone could be so brainwashed. Then, later in the day we went somewhere and a Caucasian man hit on me. Now, she was literally awestruck when he was interested in me (a darker skinned AA). I told her that color has nothing to do with beauty. For some reason, men or different races seem to be attracted to me and she darker skinned guys like her. She just detests when they show more attraction towards me instead of her. Why is that? Has anyone else dealt with this? All races opinions are welcome.

I would so love to go back to Mt. St. Anne in Quebec. A bunch of us rented a bus once and went and stayed during the Quebec Winter Festival...nothing was more spectaular that the Grand Allee at night with all it's ice sculptures.

I'm not by any means a great skiier having only skiied less than 10 times but skiing down a mountain with 2 feet of snow has got to be the most exciting experience of my life!

Hoping to do that again with my kids one day.

Any one else get the itch to ski come winter time?

At 13 she made mistakes, went through a bad phase, did stuff behind my back, was under influence of bad friends. To my hubby and me trust and honesty have alwas been very important. She apologized, said she understood she was wrong and promised to change but we emphasized she had broken out trust and had to abide by the consequences. She got a harsh punishment and though she dod her best to get out trust back we were harsh and it took us several months to trust her again. She suffered a lot, our trust was very important to her, actually this broke her spirit. She turned up into a great girl, made us proud, but got sad, stopped talking with us, became a stranger. She never messed up again, but we could never have her love again. We tried to talk, she even went to counselling but didn't change. Polite but distant. She told us she couldn't see us as loving parents any more. Today she's married, graduated, a great youmg woman, has a girl and nothing has changed. Hardly talks to us.
