if you're looking for an accent wall, go with a light chocolate or something like that
maybe even a black depending on how much light you have coming in to the room

OOOO...my opinion would be a nice shrimp color with light and dark greens BUT being a "neutral" color, coffee-brown goes with anything as long as there is one color which is light in hue so it stands out. For example: You wouldn't want coffee-brown and purple, BUT coffee-brown and pale lavendar would be good OR coffee-brown with purple and pale lavendar. (Teals with coffee-brown are another favorite!)
Also, remember to pick for "mood." That is, brown is a warming color, as is red hues. Blues, and any color near that hue, will give off a cold effect. Good luck!

Black, red, and white come to mind for a bold look. For a more subtle and sophisticated look, use a light blueor teal.

Either a dark maroon or a dark, mustard yellow. What is it for? Clothing or interior decorating?
