I have a few good books you could read. If you like vampires, be sure to read the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer, they are Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse. Now i haven't read Eclipse yet, but i know it will be awsome cuz the first two were, and i''ve heard talk that there will be a rourth one coming out later, though i don't know when. Then there are the Bloody Jack Faber Adventures. Four books that, if you like the idea of a young girl disguising herself as a boy to sneak onto a royal ship, you will love, they are Bloody Jack, Curse of the Blue Tattoo, Under the Jolly Rodger and the fourth i don't remember, but find the third one and you find the fourth soon after. Now i haven't read the last two, i am waiting for the third one to be free at the library, but can assure you they are good books. Then there is The Blue Girl, interesting, and very good. A young girl gets on the bad side of some nasty ghostly creatures, and to ward them off (if only for a little while) is turned blue. This book is good if you like reading of outcasts making a come back, and if you like supernatural stuff. I hope you like my suggestions, and that enjoy them if you care to take a second glance. And have fun at school. :)

Look here:

http://www.life-after-harry-potter.com

Included is a list of only the best sorcery fantasy books, grade reading level, a short review of each book, and a "reader's choice" list of favorite books.

And then look here: http://classiclit.about.com/library/bl-9to12/bl-9th-read.htm . Most of these will be required reading - eventually. If you don't like either of these lists, just do a search for "ninth grade reading list".

I hope this helps.
