I really want to be a photography major when I go to college next year but my family thinks that my choice is stupid and that I'll never have a job or make money. I love photography; it's one of my biggest passions! Should I ignore them and do what I want or should I change my major?

At what point will you say we have arrived econimically? When everyone makes exactly the same amount? Because that would only be about 35k each, and our economy would be in a complete standstill. The stock market would crash, and the economy that relies on capitalization would fail. We would not be able to afford the government we have, and so do not think government will provide.

It seems many Christians when writing about Christianity, and just in the general mindset leave out the fact that the Roman Catholic Church was practically the only Christianity there was for over 1500 years or so at least the dominant form throughout practically the world. Protestant Christianity is a relatively recent invention in the scope of World History (400 years or so). The Roman Catholic Church is still the largest Christian denomination representing almost half of all the world's Christians, and largest religious body in the world.

Perhaps since I am from the US this is mainly a mistake by Protestant Christians in the US?


I am a spiritual person, do not belong to any specific denomination or like organized religion but attend various services at times.

I have a credit card which has an annual fee. I've paid off the balance and want to close it because I have another credit card with no annual fee. I've been told that if I close it, it will look bad on my credit. Is this true? Is it better to leave it open? I've been told that if you have $0 balance and leave it open, it's good for your credit. Just trying to get the truth!

every month 5th i am given the cheque for icici bank for my personal loan., since 5th august is sunday bank presented the cheque on 4th itself with out any notification. so i am unware of that and when i am crediting the cash on 7th tom my account i found that cheque had returned because of insufficient fund,. my question is how come they present the cheque one day early for this can i go to consumer court. Because bank charges for cheque return is very high and this is against RBI rules pl guide me

My car was parked in the street and a lady backed into my car. The base of the car seat was in the car. We filed a claim with Liberty Mutual and they say that the car seat only needs to be replaced if the collision happenend over a certain speed. We were not in the car, nor did we see the collision so we have no idea of the speed. All we know is that the estimate to get our car fixed is $1,800. The owner's manual of my car seat says that the car seat should be replaced after a collision. We also called the manufacturer and they said that since the base of the seat was in the car at he time of the collision that all the warranties associated with the base have been voided. I have already bought a new base but I think the insurance company should re-imburse me. Am I right?

My neighbors pitbull attacked my wife 3 months ago (6 days after we moved into our new house) and I hired a lawyer and all. The dog also attacked another dog 4 months ago. But the guy did not respond to any letters and now the owners of the other dog are going to foreclose on his house.

I do not know how to feel. The dog is still in the house and he lives right behind me. He is an idiot for not responding. But I am feeling a little guilty today. He will loose his house.

My lawyer said do not talk to him. But i just do not know what to do? He is 50 and has grandkids at his house all the time. I just do not know if I should be upset about this.
