A vet is making love to his wife when the phone rings. Being on duty he answers it and the client says, "I've got a dog and a bit*h humping on my doorstop; how can I stop them?"

The vet says, "Put a mobile phone next to them and ring it."
The client says, "And will that work?"
The vet says, "It just stopped me!"

As far as I know only two commoners have ever been so honoured, wellington and churchill. Surely the last survivor of the great war ought to be so honoured as a tribute to all of those ordinary men for whom duty was spelled with a capital D?

Confirm or deny: "AxisofOddity has a telepathic connection to the world where the world receives Axis' thoughts, but Axis doesn't receive the world's".

In layman's term, is it true that the world receives my thoughts teleapthically? (Not through internet)?

What is it like? Do you wait for me to fall asleep to think normally?

First, I live in Michigan if that helps.

The officer was parked in a fire station lot where the speed limit is 30, but if you go about two seconds down the street the speed limit jumps up to 45. Well when he clocked me he said I was 45. He said I was going 15 over, but only gave me a ticket for 5 over. I decided to fight the ticket. My court date was supposed to be 8-6-07, but then the court said they would reschedule me for a different date. I did not ask for a reschedule. Anyways my new day is 9-12-07.

What are my chances for beating the ticket?

If someone is Anorexic and without any medications is amenorrheic, can taking birth control pills start up their period again?

I have heard that it can't because the placebo week of your period is just an absence of the heightened estrogen hormones so if you're body wasn't naturally menstruating it wouldn't start.

What do you think?

Why don’t we just throw our cell phones and computers away? And modern medicine; it might give us too much power one day, so why don’t we just forget about it all? And horse power was good enough for our ancestors so it would still be good enough for us, wouldn’t it?

Or so I've heard from some friends (and from some of my experience) particularly on the scene ... where many times you are expected to be young and fashionable with a slim or gymfit body ... and people who do not fit this stereotype are often discriminated against.

Have you had an unpleasant experience on the scene? Or on the contrary do you find the scene very accepting of LBGTs who do not "fit the mould"?

I'd like to hear your experiences.
