I need some help and advice.
Our garden is approximatley 30 feet long and 20 feet wide, with a gentle slope downwards away from the house. Unfortunatley, the soil is clay and is holding onto the water like a sponge. Water isn't draining well at the bottom of the garden due to their being gravel boards along the boundary fence, so ends up pooling on the surface when it rains heavily.
I have been told I would need to make a soakaway and would ideally like to do this as cheaply as possible. Some people have advised me to dig a deep hole near the bottom of the garden and fill with gravel etc. Other people have advised me to dig a 1ft deep trench parallel to the bottom fence so that all the water from the garden flows down due to gravity and stops in the trench.
Yet more people have said I need to dig multiple drainage channels leading to a deep hole, again filled with stones etc.
Ideally I would like to get rid of all the clay, but that currently isn't an option.
Help!

Hi all, a predicament I need thoughts on.

My rides a '91 JDM >50mile (68km) Z32 DETT 5sp 2+2, stage 3 with 5Zigen exhaust, cold box, bad chip, spec'd injectors, Simmons 17"s, no spoilers, 446hp RWHP dyno'd, 12.9sec 1/4s, mint diablo red, concourse condition. I was real happy with it. Till today.

Recently I lost a clutch & developed a leak in the ABS router, so I asked the main Z-tech here in town for a full roadworthy diagnostic report. He's come back with a NZ$7,000 needs list. Needs, not wants, although would be mechanically/ suspension mint after.

It won't pass a NZ roadworthy with a lot of the issues, and we still have the clutch to deal with! Now the least of my worries. Incidentally, after many options considered, I am doing a custom fabricated spring ceramic clutch & machined wheel with 25-2700lbs clamp - until the other stuff appeared I was lookin' forward to that, big time. Lets L-A-U-N-C-H-!

Ok i have a older pc and its CMOS battery was replaced about a year ago with no issues. As of late im getting the dreaded blue screen of death and have checked everything software wise to no avail. I noticed that when the pc table is hit that it causes the sys dump to happen so im thinking i may have a hardware issue thats causing the dump.( I just moved my P.C. a few days ago perhaps knocking something loose.) when i opened it up to check conections i didnt notice anything off hand. Ram cards are well conected and so on. I then checked my CMOS battery and noticed it was not to secure in its socket. I ve fixed the "spring" and now it fits snugly inside and dose'nt move so im wondering is it possiable that the loose Btry was the reason for the sys dumps?

I had a crazy dream last night, i was at work washing my hands and cut my hand on a large piece of glass hidden in the hand towel, it really hurt and i had lots of little cuts on my hand, then for some strange reason i decided to cut my right thumb clean off, I went back to my office and showed my boss then she just tried to push it back on! I told her it hurt and she said it had to go back on because i cant leave to go to hospital.

Next thing i know i am sat on the floor in the middle of my office wearing just my knickers and covered in blood crying but noone even turned around to help.....

What does this mean!?
I am so confused about it
