Turn on the lights, turn up the music and find something fuzzy to hug (A dog or teddy bear will do!) Then focus on something else like dancing to your favorite song or put in a funny movie. Remember it is just wind!

I know what you mean . It sounds just like a wind that reminds you of a sound from any horror-story movie .
The expression that describes that noisy wind is :- " .... howling like a banshee ! " A ' banshee ' , by the way, is an apparition or a ghost .
Need to calm yourself down ? .... use hearing protection, stick your head under your pillow or just call a friend . Maybe calling a friend would at least make you feel like you' re not alone .

I wish I was there to lean my shoulder around you. Offer you confort and protection through my big arm and sing to you on the bed. Yet, none is capable because of our distance that separate our soul. Baby, turn on the TV or watch a movie. I hope you will find joy and excitment and loss focus of the devil wind that scared you. Remember, don't dream about me too much and good night.

It's alright, nothing's there. The wind is just the wind, and the door is just a door. It's just creaking 'cause it's its old. why dont you call a friend or watch some tv to get your mind off of things.

I hate reposting old answers of mine, but this one seems to fit:
On a dark and stormy night, you awaken to the crash of thunder and insane laughter in your closet............?
But where exactly did the thunder come from? From the closet or from outside?
I got out of bed and looked outside, slowly pulling the curtains back, afraid I would see some kind of monster, but knowing better. Thankfully, it was raining. It was raining hard and the night sky was lit up with lightning, followed too closely for me by the jarring peals of thunder. Then I heard it again.
From inside the closet came what I can only describe as some kind of twisted, insane laughter just like you hear in the movies. But this was no movie. You always know what to tell the people in the movies when this happens, but trust me, when it happens to you, you draw a blank. Your mind is just too busy processing information and trying to come to terms with what is happening.
So here I was, sitting up and pressed against the wall as far away from the closet as I could get. It was pointless, if you thought about it, since the room wasn't that big. If anything was in the closet, it could get from one end of the room to the other in seconds with no problem. So what did I do next? Maybe the stupidest thing I could have.
"Hello?" I said to the closet in a voice barely above a whisper. Then there was silence. "Hello?" I said a little louder after clearing my throat a little. This was a big mistake.
The sound of scratching on a door is so scary, but when it's done furiously on the other side of a closed door, it's absolutely terrifying. Oh crap, I thought, that did NOT go according to plan. I wanted to leave but was frozen in place in bed. I could probably have made it to the bedroom door and then out into the hall, but I just couldn't move. Then the scratching stopped. This, I think was worse than hearing it.
I looked around the room for some kind of a weapon, maybe a bat or something to protect myself. Seriously, you do think like that. Like a baseball bat is going to protect you from...what? I started to move in my bed towards the side nearest the door, causing the bed to ever so slightly squeak. Then it started again.
The scratching and insane laughter started up again, but there was something about it this time that was different. There was something just not the same about it, but it was still there. Oh my God....it wasn't scratching at the closet door, it was scratching at the closet ceiling, and making incredible progress. Then it stopped and there was silence again. Then that terrible laughter again and it was in the attic.
It scurried around up there, frantically moving from one end to the other. I got out of bed again and went to the window to see what I could. Then it found the attic vent fan. It pounded and scratched and then there was a flash of light which could have been lightning or may have come from the attic; it was just over too quickly.
I saw a hand come out through the burned hole in the attic where the attic fan was and ran back to bed and pulled the covers over my head (as if some 500 thread count linen would protect me), and I will never forget what I heard next. There was a scratching at my window, not frantic, not even a whole hand, but just one nail. Then came the voice, like a whisper on fire, "Next time." it said, then it was gone.
I never saw what it was, and it hasn't come back yet. The next day we looked at the closet door and ceiling and the police said an animal probably did that. No animal laughs the way I heard whatever it was laughing. I never did tell anyone the whole story before.
Not until now. But you are living in my old house, so I just thought you had a right to know, and maybe to prepare yourself for the next thunderstorm that comes your way. Maybe it was after me, or maybe it was something in the house it wanted, I don't know. I'm just glad I don't live there anymore.

look on the logical odds of it being somebody or something making the door creak. approximately 20 million to a minimum of one. there are a number of creaky door around you be responsive to! i in my opinion love listening to the wind blowing the trees around wildly exterior. it relatively is something that I omit right here in Egypt.

make sure all of your windows in your room are closed. also shut your door completely and stay in your room with a light on. that used to help me when i was home alone and i got scared. also it helped make me feel better with a bat or some kind of weapon near me just in case haha
