We have a large tree (the oldest, largest in the neighborhood) sitting smack-dead on the property line between our house and our neighbor's house. We have new neighbors who are complaining about an "obstructed view" of the street (and why someone would rather see a street and neighbor's houses than a tree I have no idea) and want to either cut the tree down or prune it to the point of deformation. We are refusing. Not only does the tree provide an excellent canopy over the entire front yard, it provides shade to the house which helps keep our energy bills low.

What, if any, are the liability concerns? What happens if the neighbor prunes and damages the tree without our permission?

We live in Ohio, by the way. We do not have a Home Owner's Association.

I am 37 and my bio-father whom I've only known for 9 years has decided to say to me " it's just too late to be father and son". I lost my mother in 99 to cancer and 1 year before, she introduced me to him. I know I need to prove paternity. But do I have any legal ground after all these years? He never gave his right up to me and never tried to find me, eventhough I was 10 minutes away most of my life.

I can't believe BET did a show about a boring group of obnoxious and pretentious Black kids from LA. I was suprised that they didn't film it here in Prince George's County Maryland located next to DC. PG County is the wealthiest Black county in America! PG county has way more Black millionares than anywhere else! We even have a girl who is like the Black Paris Hilton. Her first name is Denise! I'm tired of BET doing proflies on Black people in New York City and in LA give someone else a chance. Do you think a show about PG county would be better?

For example, a business letter/email to a Chris/Jesse/Whitney? I've known both men and women with those first names. Or if it's a foreign-sounding or unusual name that I've never heard before?

"To whom it may concern," sounds a bit impersonal, because I do know the name of my contact. Yet, "Dear (first name)," sounds a bit unprofessional during initial introductions and conversations.

But maybe I'm wrong and it's neither impersonal nor unprofessional.

Thoughts?

Do you really? Do you think that the world is heating up much faster than in the past. Do you believe that the ice caps are melting? Do you believe that as arctic icepacks melt the rising sea levels will cause unbelievable flooding along the coastlines of the world? Do you believe that as the climates shift and warms that the hot will get hotter, the dry dryer? Do you feel that the time to act is now? Do you think that this is too important to leave to one or two world governments who only interest is to keep them in power? That they have no concern for the welfare of the worlds people, especially the poor? Are you convinced that the root cause of this change in climate is smoke spewing coal fired power plants, The millions of American automobiles on the roads, the unrestricted deforest-station of the worlds few remaining old growth forests? That the diet of meat, meat, meat, is and will continue to take away valuable land for grazing that could have been used to benefit so many more? Do you really believe that? Then why are you here wasting power that was produced by those coal fired plants that are ran by men and women in those cars, who eat those cows that live in houses made of that wood. Due to a recent question that was asked, I as a "former" skeptic went searching for the answer and found something I never imagined. I don't know how to describe this event or exactly what happened 'inside me'. But now I do not know what to do....

I am nervous and a little frightened, while at the same time excited and happy. Basically, what I am trying to ask from Christians are these questions ---

How do I renounce Atheism and accept Christ as my savior?

And then what happens after that?

- I've been an Atheist all my life and I feel sort of lost. Please, do not treat this as a joking matter, this is a very serious issue for me.

I think I ov AROUND AUGUST 2 had up. sex on that day!!! my period is a 33 day cycle for the month of July i started on the 14th and lasted about a week (5-6days)....heavy flow!!! well so i was expecting to start my period on the 16th of this month. i'm never early and i'm always a day or two later than the previous month! i started bleeding really light blood( light pink) on sunday the 12th(4 days b4 AF) then as the night went on the flow got a little bit more red like bright red but still different from AF like there was a lot of Cm with the blood which gave it a clearish red color! on day two the flow got heavier almost like a AF but not as heavy and not as much blood still bright red....with clots in it. enough for a liner not that much blood for a pad. even tried a tampon but not evnough blood was uncomfortable. today(day 3) there is no more flow , ust when i wipe it is the pink color again! my period is usually heavy and lasts almost aweek! could this be implatation bleeding

I wanted to buy something but i didn't have money.
I borrowed from friend "A " $ 25 and from friend "B" $ 25
I went to the store and bought thing that cost $45
In the store my friend "C" ask me to lend her $3
Now i have $2 left
I give back to my friend "A" $1 and to my friend "B" $1
Now i need to give back $24 to "A" and $24 to "B"

But $24+$24= $48

And + $3 that friend "C" will give me back =

$48+$3= $51

Where $1 dollars come from???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
