Well if you are a bit on the thin side like i am.. you should get it by the age of 13 or 13 and a half. You can ask around not everyone in your school has had their period yet. Its nothing to be happy about believe me..cramps blood bloated..bleh i got my period when i was 12 and a half soo..i consider myself early. Sometimes i think about beign 40 and not having to worry about period issues.
Take it easy, Have a great day!

Calm down. Everybody is different. Just because all of your friends have their periods and you don't doesn't mean anything. You will get your period when your body is ready. Some women get them as early as age 9 and others don't get it until they are 16,17, or even 18. Calm down and be patient it will happen. Watch for the warning signs: clear/white discharge could begin happening for a year or so before it comes, acne, sometimes headaches, cramping. If you want to try and figure out when you'll get yours see if you can find out when your mom first got hers, and when your grandmother on your dads side first got hers. Past that there's nothing you can do, and nothing you need to do. Enjoy not having your period, it seems exciting now but when you have to deal with it once a month it becomes a pain in the butt.
Hope this helps. :-)

I didn't get mine until I was almost 15. But I personally think it's better to get your period later. Period signifies some of the final stages of puberty. Usually about a year (some longer some shorter) after your first period you stop growing (height wise). So for me I liked how my period was a while later...because I was still growing and getting taller.
Period aren't very fun so be thankful you don't have a week of feeling gross every month. In time you'll get yours too, there's nothing to sped up the process and I don't think you want to grow up too fast. Enjoy being a girl while you can!

you are fine dont worry about it if you dont get it by 16teen then you have too start too worry and have your mom take you to a special doctor and all but your only 13 dont worry about it yet. some people start as early as 9 and some start as late as 15 and a half it depends on your weight, family history, and hormones and health. so if your a healthy weight, not stressed out alot, and your family history usally gets them regurlarly you should be fine. but if you are really still worried tell your mom and she should beable to set an appointment with a special doctor for this problem. best of luck

All you can do is to wait, but in the mean time find out from your mom at what age she started because that can give an indication of when you will have your first period.

Your period will start pretty much anytime between 9 and 16 years of age.
It's totally normal to not have it at 13.

Calm down girlie. Its okay. Not everyone has to have there period at the same time. When you get it your not going to want it trust me. If your that worried just go to the doctor, they can usually tell when it should be happening.

It's okay. I'm pretty sure you'll get it soon or later on. My friend got it when she was in highschool so its fine. It's not great to have your period, really. Lol so enjoy life while you can without it.

Everyone gets their periods at different times. There is nothing you can do to make you get your period. Enjoy not having it. Enjoy not feeling bloated, tired, and crampy.
