Let's first clear the air. That roster is your team before the trade (i.e. you have Leinart and have been offered Fitzgerald for him).

I love adding a starter by trading a backup...

Fitzgerald is a very good WR who would immediately be a starter for your current team (Your new #2 WR). Leinart is your 3rd string QB is easily replacable in a 6 team league. By all means, take the deal.

I would definitely do it. Look at your current QB situation. Brady and Palmer are great and unless they have the same bye week would be a great combo. You'll probably never use Leinert throughout your season anyway.
You could always use another strong reciever.
To me this is a no brainer. Take Fitz and just hope Leinert finds him the ball.

Counter offer with Brady and see what happens; if the team owner is desperate for a QB. Leinert is going to have monster numbers and you are getting one of his receivers, but only one......your WR are good right now.

Great trade for you. As I mentioned in your other question, you have a hell of a team (even for a 6 team league), and this would make it close to unstoppable. Go for it without thought. Not that you need it, but you can replace Leinart a lot easier in a 6 team league that Fitz.

I would do it in a heart beat. You have two of the best QB's in the league. Fitz will get his from leinart (he is starting and will be the QB until he is injured) but lienart will not be better than the other two. Fitz will make Lienart look good. You will kill with Fitz, CJ and JW.

Looks like you are giving up Leinart. I would definitely make that trade if you are the one getting Fitzgerald.

You don't need a 3rd QB, with the 2 you have. Keep Fitzgerald.

You are definitely in trouble if you have never heard of Larry JR. I am guessing you are a shoe in for last in your league.
