I can't believe BET did a show about a boring group of obnoxious and pretentious Black kids from LA. I was suprised that they didn't film it here in Prince George's County Maryland located next to DC. PG County is the wealthiest Black county in America! PG county has way more Black millionares than anywhere else! We even have a girl who is like the Black Paris Hilton. Her first name is Denise! I'm tired of BET doing proflies on Black people in New York City and in LA give someone else a chance. Do you think a show about PG county would be better?

Hopefully someone will depict life for middle class and upper class blacks in DC. DC is has alot of city culture and a whole go-go movement going. There are also many wealthy Hispanics out here as well.

I think you are right, I live in baltimore and have lived here for most of my life. People on the outside think that Baltimore and Maryland in general is just crappy, but we are a diverse place with much culture, both modern and historical. You just need to know how to get yourself out of a bad situation and you'll thrive anywhere in Maryland. PG county, or anywhere in Maryland would be better then the same old city.

Actually thats a bit misleading,Prince George has the highest medium income for a majority black county but theres only so many black majority counties in the first place. There are several other black enclaves across the country with wealther blacks than Prince George but they havent reached that 51% mark yet.
BTW Bladwin Hills is a painfully awful show..

It isn't all of a sudden. Biracial babies have been conceived for hundreds of years, especially in the south. ~People are defensive about race because it is 2009, not 1952 and race *should* no longer be an issue. ETA~ "my point, I think there should have been racial Mixing back in the 1980's, the mothers today should already be mixed" What is your point? That Prince Georges County Maryland should only be comprised of biracial people?

I agree, because I live in Maryland, in Montgomery, people are wealthy here, but no, I don't admire anyone who wanted to be Paris Hilton, she will be nothing without her family's wealth.

That show is effin ridiculous...and NOT REAL...i know ppl who r on that show and they had to audition like a regular tv show...to top it off they aint even upper-class or nuthin like that...idunno i think they should stop making these stupid shows all together...theyre just gonna get cancelled...
