I'm in the first stages of my wedding planning, and thus far my only decision is that I somehow want to incorporate a brown color scheme into my wedding.

Though I think they're all very beautiful, I'm sick of seeing brown + pink, blue, or cream and would like to do something a little different. I'm partial to any shade of green or purple (would love to incorporate both but have no idea how), and I like the brown + red combo.

Any ideas? Suggestions?

Our grand daughter was registered today, and much to my sons disgust and due to a silly argument they had before they went to the Registry Office (they are both only young) the baby has been registered in his partners surname. They are both regretting it now, can anyone tell me if they can change her birth certificate so she bears his surname?

Christians, why it is so important to them to disprove the evolutionary / big bang theories?

I grew up in a very Christian environment and went to Christian school where creationism was taught. I am very familiar with the American Christian perspective. What I, however, cannot comprehend is why it is so important to Christians to impede science.

I was labeled by liberal friends as ignorant and hence finally got the nerve to inform myself about the two theories and found that creationists are only cherry-picking at at least one VERY well established theory (natural selection).

The strongest argument I've heard against evolution from fellow Christians is that it's not scientifically sound, and this coming from people who have never read a single book on the theory and know little about science.

Neither natural selection nor the big bang explain why the universe came about (they only explain in what manner) so where is the contradiction? Plenty of the bible is metaphorical.

I have a Christmas Cactus that my Mother-in-Law gave me 5 or 6 years ago that I think needs to be repotted.

It looks like it is packed in some kind of moss (either that or the soil is very well decomposed), and there are huge gaps between the side of the pot and the rootball.

My question is, how do I repot it safely? What potting mixture do I use? what is the best kind of pot to use (currently in a plastic nursery pot)? when is the best time of year to repot?

If it matters, I live in Milwaukee, WI (though this is strictly an indoor plant).

Thanks for your advice.

We have seen, with previous elections, that the results of the debates have no effect upon the voting patterns of the public. GWB lost all his debates to Kerry, but he was still elected.

The question is this...do people really and truly listen to the candidates with an open mind, or do they just vote along the party lines for which they've registered? And if thats the case, why is so much money and time spent on the campaigning process?

The operating system(windows xp home edition) is corrupt. Ive tried repairing it with no luck. However i know that the memory is still there. I could fix the computer but i would loose all memory. Is there a way to back it up so that when i erase the memory and fix the pc i can just load my memory from burned recordable cds?

Also the bios works, does that mean my memory is still there?

-Wrestlemania 8
-Survivor Series 1998
-No Mercy 2001
-Many house shows at St. Louis Arena
-RAW day after Owen Hart's death
-RAW after Backlash where Hulk Hogan won the Undisputed Title I believe, Big Show joins nWo...but after the show goes off the air, Hulk Hogan helps Stone Cold, only to get the Stone Cold Stunner, my friend and I were the only ones cheering I swear. It was so cool to see it done in person, I was ticked it wasn't on TV.
-Many house shows at Kiel Center, now Scottrade Center.

Job 9:6 (KJV)

6 Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.

Isiah 40:22 (KJV)

22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

Let me guess, the Bible describing the Earth as circular and supported by pillars is just poetic license? Never mind that it reflects the beliefs of everyone that lived in the world at that time. How can you believe that God created the Earth and the Bible is the inerrant word of God based upon these passages?
