No! LT will NOT get hurt. And here are two reasons.
1. He turned down the cover to Madden '08(so Vince Young Will get hurt or suck)
2. I drafted him #1 on my fantasy team damn it.

I doubt he'll get hurt like Alexander or Holmes (certainly not like Holmes - Merriman is on LT's team). But, look for LT to get spelled periodically by Michael Turner, both during the middle of the season and toward the end.
If the Chargers have the AFC west and/or a playoff spot locked up toward the end of the season, LT will be rested. Besides, the Chargers invested a lot in Turner to be LT's backup/insurance policy. They'll want to get their money's worth if the game/season isn't on the line. Plus, they'll want to showcase Turner for his upcoming free agency.
That's the risk of taking LT as the first pick in a fantasy football draft. If the Chargers are doing well toward the end of the year and LT isn't on the verge of breaking any other records, they'll shut him down and feature Turner as the running back.

the curse is real...dates back as far back since they switched from Madden on the cover to featuring players in 99. Garrison Hearst broke his ankle in 99.
Barry Sanders retired in 00
Eddie George wasnt hurt but he never had a good season after
Culpepper had an awful year and a back injury
Faulk had an ankle injury
Michael Vick hurt himself before the season even started
Ray lewis slumped and broke his wrist
Mcnabb had a hernia
Alexander broke his foot
LT is not on the cover this year though its Vince Young

holmes and alexander were also on the cover of madden, but surprisingly LT has not been. the curse which you are referring to is the madden curse. same thing happened to Vick (unrelated to dogfighting) and Ray Lewis (well, he wasnt hurt, but he sucked balls). Vince young will probably be the next victim, but personally i doubt LT will be hurt. he is a big guy and it really all comes down to chance.

I do not know whether an athlete will get injured in one season or another .The one thing to remember is that it only takes one bad hit to do this so there is always that risk at hand . But I also know that LT is in great shape and this could help him defeat this trend and I see greater things for him this season/ The key for you to hope is that the offensive line stays healthy so he can put the figures he did last year.

LT is a rock. He has only missed 1 start in his career. He also has a good balence of passing so he's wont be carrying such a huge load like Backs that do get hurt.

No, LT has to get hit before he can get hurt. No one can touch him.

He will be fine. That was a coincidence with the other two. LT is as tough as they come.
